My favorite episode 🙌

I call this episode Creepy Christmas. The dissonant bells with the music playing. I really felt bad for Darlene, Dom, and Tyrell -even though Tyrell is a pretty horrible person. Everyone is so alone. Darlene lost her whole family and closest friend and has no idea where Elliot is. Dom can't talk to anyone about the DA stuff and Janice was at her mom's or at least talked to her on Christmas Eve. Elliot is the one that is the most tragic, because he has no idea how alone he is or how to let anyone in.

I like to think Tyrell found the spot where he’d die and he was able to understand what that means for him. This kinda goes back to what his wife was saying that it’s kinder to let a person know why they’re about to die. The question now is who’s going to replace Phillip if Tyrell isn’t found?

Pumped for the rest of the season. For me this stretch is my fav stretch of tv ever.

I know it's a stupid take (possibly) to some fans but I've always taken Tyrell's death (the 'Blue Screen of Death') thing as relevant to him becoming a corporate slave. He always tries to cling to some level of independence at E-Corp (even trying to nuke the company!) but ends up fired and when he's bought back, he's made the most blank, plain figure imaginable in how his image is publicly. His blue-screen is, to me, a reference to the fact that while he was a KDE-head, he got taken over by The Man and died a Microsoft slave.

This episode reminds me 3.7 when Elliot was suicidal and ended up spending a big part of it with Trenton's little brother? The episode was a big change of pace like this one and was just a journey of really deep meaning. Steven is right, at the time it does really feel out of place but when the series is all said and done this is one of those episodes you think back on and it really stays with you.

This episode reminded me so much of the horror movie Dead End (2003), actually a good movie.
