So excited! Fun fact: the actor voicing/performing the Pumpkin headed groundskeeper is Mark Hamill! Don't know if you caught the credits but Sandman was written by Neil Gaiman, who wrote Good Omens & Coraline. Similar Vibes, especially to Good Omens

Dang I’d have waited if I’d known! I literally started this weekend — I’ll stop!

The show is fascinating but I really don't like how they chose to go with the protagonist's style of speech.

I hadn’t read the graphic novels but like some of Neil Gaiman’s other work and I loved this series. Really impressed with it.

in the interview, Neil Gaiman said Tom Sturridge(sandman) initially tried to do a Batman-like voice which he quickly told Tom "nope, stop that". So at least when they finally made the show, sandman wasn't the batman, LOL.

Of course it's based on a fucken book. Why would anyone come up with an original idea anymore 😑

I think I found my new favorite show. Even though I just found out it's based on a book. Of course it is. I guess it's better than coming up with an entirely new idea with an imagination thinking outside the box 😝

Holy Time jump, Batman 😆. Which was my response when watching it the first time. It reminds me of Vikings a bit with the time jumps. I love the dark fantasy of this. Feels like Labyrinth a little bit darker. David Bowie be proud. I think I'll add the book to my Christmas list. I think the little boy is from Bly Manor.
