We watched this episode of SoA on Amazon.

This is a watch-a-long so you do need to bring your own copy of the episode to see it, there is no PIP or show audio. There is a visual cue off the top, a countdown to start and a timer to help you sync up.

How come Amazon and not hulu anymore lol

nikkistevenreact

we had an issue last episode getting Hulu to even play the episode so we will likely just buy the amazon copies because it's far more reliable of a streaming service.

BiaN

honestly i live for this SoA reaction, so fucking good keep it up

Ashley

Yeah I did that in order to own them. So I can just anytime watch an episode because I don’t sub Hulu except one show, one month of the year.

Rah29

I remember you guys didn’t like Tig in the beginning! Lol can’t wait for the next couple episodes!!

Bryce Lamkin

I'm really happy yall understood how impacting Tig turnin his Sgt At Arms patch was. Also Lenny was JTs Sgt At Arms

Meggerz

Potter didn’t say he understood why Otto wanted to get Lenny more privileges. Potter asked why he was doing it. Otto said “you wouldn’t understand”. Then Potter said “I wish that WEREN’T true”, aka, he wishes he did understand. Potter is just a weird dude.

Ian McBride

I love Chibs, definitely my favorite character.

You know you're losing your way when Tig... TIG of all people is the voice of reason. Clay does not seem to realize he's making the people who have had his back since forever are turning on him since he seems intent on shutting them out. When I saw Jax see how badly Clay messed up Gemma, I knew the chains of vengeance were unshackling. JT is bound to be avenged at this point. Clay just keeps on digging his own hole. I HATED Kozik's death. Him dying at some point, fine, but like that? So anti-climatic.

Kwame James

Now that yall are pretty much done with clay fan fact is he played Hellboy

Also nobody went to go visit piney because he goes to the cabin all the time to drink his self to death and he had just went up their they normally give him a few days before they make sure he still alive and they had a lot going on also

I always appreciated the Sons storytelling because while it is fictional the twists & turns feel natural. For example Wendy showing back up, in real life an ex reappearing doesn't wait for the perfect moment it happens when it happens. It would have been easy to not to interject this new storyline with all that is going on but that isn't this show. This show understands how to navigate chaos and create tension in a way that never feels forced. The other thing that I always appreciated is while the show definitely uses slow burning storytelling some of which spans multiple seasons (The truth about John's death) and the full season (Zobel, Irish Kidnapping), it also brilliantly adds "smaller" problems which resolve quickly so the audience gets some satisfaction or sense of resolution with those issues. Lastly none of the additions that add to the chaos feel forced , unnecessary or appear to hamper the overarching storytelling. A lot of shows struggle to get from point A to Z while telling longer stories that are meant span the full season. Sons storytelling doesn't have bottle episodes or throw away episodes that takes you out of the tension. Meaning for example we dont have flashback episodes that delve into some event that informs a characters current actions or motives because the overarching story needs filler to breakaway from the present day events.

That's fair, I still watch a few other shows on Hulu and don't mind resyncing in the beginning to watch the episodes.

Kozik’s death stood out to me more. Like why was there no talk about him, from Tig. The were close. Lots of history. Weird.

Ashley

Tara broke my soul when she hit her hand. Been there at a dark point and it’s not easy to watch her. Feel it so strongly. Wendy coming felt like Tara was losing something else. She had already lost her hand, but now losing a son. Too much. She should have taken it out on Wendy. Nobody would question it. 🥲🥲🥲

Kozik's death was and what he said was a call back to Kurt Sutter's previous show, The Wire. The actor who plays Kozik was also on that show.

AlexS

The Shield, not The Wire. Wrong cop show.

I'm loving how deeply invested you've gotten with our boys. I've watched it time and again since original air date and it's impossible not to become attached and personally involved. For me, Chibs was and is my favourite and his scene with Juice almost broke me first time around, that is until he threw in 'two guys hugging in a bathroom' and I screamed with laughter. Great reaction, can't wait for the next one.

Josip Buretić

Agreed, Kozik did deserve so much more than go out like that

Josip Buretić

Don't get me wrong I love Tara but I also love Wendy for some reason 🤷🏻‍♀️

Now that I read all comments I am so ready to watch your reaction guys!! Much love to all of SOA lovers 😎

MaggieStormborn

As an autistic person, Potter's character screams "autistic" to me in every regard. 💯

Meggerz

I’ve always wondered about that. Or maybe Asperger Syndrome. I knew someone with that, and they have a lot of the same characteristics.

Ashley

Not here. Not with the way she needles her way back. Automatic lawyer threat. Showing up in hospital with no care of reading the room. Not right! Lol

Tyrone Tyrone

The only reason I watched SOA later was because The Shield was so GREAT.

Betsy Freeman

Lenny is played by Sonny Barger an infamous member of Oakland chapter of the Hell's Angels.
