It was only through the intervention of the Fierce Deity that the darkness was driven back. With a blade forged in the fires of the cosmos and a heart hardened by countless battles, it clashed with the evil in a storm of fury and destruction. In the aftermath of that battle, when the dust settled and the land lay still beneath the weight of the divine conflict, the remaining gods came together. They marveled at the Fierce Deity's power, but they also feared it. Its strength was a gift, but it was a power that could consume them and itself, that could twist its spirit into something far darker. Its rage was a fire that could burn away the very fabric of existence. So, the gods made a decision: they would bind the Fierce Deity's power, locking it away so that no mortal or god would be consumed by it. But even as they sealed away its wrath, they could not destroy the essence of its being. The Fierce Deity was too powerful to be contained entirely.
