Dev Update #99: Mannequins! (Patreon)

We’re happy to share that progress has been strong this past stretch, with a big focus on refining the overall experience and methodically eliminating remaining bugs. Everything is coming together in a way that feels cohesive, stable, and genuinely satisfying to play.

One feature we’re especially excited to highlight this update is the mannequins. Mannequins now properly display armor in the overworld, behaving exactly as we envisioned. This small, but impactful detail adds a huge amount of immersion, making the mod feel like a consistent, physical part of the world rather than just menu prompts when selecting "Buy".

Seeing these elements work seamlessly has been incredibly rewarding, and it’s helping the project meet — and in some cases exceed — our expectations as creators. There’s still fine tuning ahead, but the experience is now very close to what we set out to build when we imagined a "1.0" iteration.

We hope to continue far past that and the framework we have spent so long making should allow us to explode into the future with amazing innovations!
