She definitely loved them, like you said so much hate can only come from loving someone. She's had so much time alone, looking for Madeleine, giving, seeing them live and it all fostered. I wish thry would have thought to find Madeleine for her.

Girl! We were all gagged! I felt the same way at the end! We know that Louis gets reattached based on the first scene of ep 1 this season. As for why— you and me (non book readers for now) can only guess, but at this point we know Armand has been weaseling his way into Daniel’s and Alex’s lives for a while now. From Alex’s perspective, Lestat bullied his brother until Larry killed himself. For Daniel, Louis and Lestat have been bullying him for years. I can’t wait for the finale! I have a feeling it’ll be like season 1’s finale that left me like wtf is going on???!!!

Awww I can’t believe you don’t want them together!! They’ve done so much work on themselves (more to be done as stated though), and Lestat looks at Louis so lovingly that I don’t know if he would ever be able to have a healthy friendship with the love of his LIFE, and I think he’s got a lock on Louis’ heart that will never be broken. With Claudia (not a book reader, show only, I just thought a lot about it last night), I feel there is love somewhere deep inside, but it’s been pushed down and smashed on by years of pain and hatred. She just found out the real reason she was created was because Louis begged despite knowing her existence would be extremely difficult, and probably not worth it, I truly think if she hadn’t met Madeline before she died, she probably would have wished to never be a vampire. That blame on Louis has been festering for 70 years. Something I have to tell myself is season 1-2 are told through Louis’ perspective, and his perspective of Claudia was already clever, and absolutely brutal, and if we take the rose colored glasses off, then the whole ‘writing the last words of every single victim’ thing makes a whole lot more sense IMO. She was child raised in neglect and abuse, then because a being that removes their humanity to the core, which both Louis and Lestat pulling on both sides. Makes sense that she hates the holier than thou one more. This is also Lestat’s perspective, so who knows if she was lighter on him in his own version of events.

I cannot wait for Sunday!!! The smoothness of the cut passes me off. It was so clean 🤣 I bet alestat and Louis had no idea what happened until their heads touched the ground. I need for Molloy to die next episode....I've know its not Armand because like you said, we saw them in episode 1. But Daniel has to eat dust!!

Well we’ve gotten hints all season that his life is short lived and we know that Lestat performs the concert somehow based on the failures so I theorize that somehow they get put back together and Lestat performs and that many vamps chanting make more, makes akasha arise and then all hell breaks loose. But also it wouldn’t be IWTV/TVL if there wasn’t some crazy plot twist that none of saw coming on the way

I do want them together because baby yay I want someone to look at me the way Lestat looks at Louis BUT they are not there yet. Right now them being friends is all they can handle. And yes after I had time to think about Claudia, I feel the same way you do. Louis has this fantasy about how things used to be and he either glossed over a lot of things or they were quickly moved on from. Like her keeping pthat person in the closet...barely alive. The pieces of each bottom scattered in her room....the signs were there hahaha
