I don't have work tomorrow (well, technically today as it's 1am here now) and I've been waiting especially. This is going to be good. . . . . although I'll check back in about 1 hour 30 mins because I WILL be crying 🥲

MARY......................!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. Unless I missed it, you missed a very brief post-credit sequence that will factor into the next one.

Max Packer

Oh Mary 😭! all those little moments where we grew to love Mary, especially her way of dealing with, and interacting with, John and Sherlock, and then this! There is something quite eery and yet serene about the sharks and the aquarium backdrop. I wonder if there was any reason behind the code names of the four people watching the video footage at the start Antarctica, Langdale, Pollock and Love? I know they are names taken from the original Sherlock stories but wondered if there is a specific connection to the characters here? I agree that it feels so quick. In the space of four or five episodes (depending if you count the extra one) John and Mary have met, fallen in love, found out Sherlock isn't dead, got engaged and married, Mary has shot Sherlock, John has found out about Mary's potentially sketchy past, they've had a baby and Mary has been killed.

Well, I know what I'm doing right now after reading this comment. I didn't know about an extra scene. 😯

Hey, Max, is A.J., that other assassin, the actor I think it is? :)
