BioShock Video Art Assets & METAL GARDEN Club Update (Patreon)

Good evening!

I debated whether I should save this as a combined post with BioShock 2, but figured I may as well post it here anyways!As some eagle eyed viewers noticed, the thumbnail is a Megalopolis joke. The game isn't nearly the fever dream that movie is, but it seemed like a fun comparable to make. As I mentioned a while ago a few posts back, a few older thumbnails are being updated by poon (sneksucks) as well. None of the Halloween (or spiritually Halloween) videos will be changed along with a lot of others, but many are just to take advantage of YouTube no longer being restricted to such a terrible image size and quite a few I was never happy with. So some might just appear to be more "HD" on certain platforms or whatever but will be too subtle to be very noticeable otherwise. It's making for good extra downtime work for the artist!

I also wanted the song to go on a bit longer for Haze Ryan but didn't want too risk too many copyright issues. One section already had to be muted unfortunately. One of the issues of the videos getting around more is valid or not a lot of parties will skim through them looking for sniffs of anything to claim, and if it's legitimate and just docks some revenue it is what it is but some are a lot more draconian where it'll block it in several countries and that's really no good.

In the meanwhile BioShock 2 is on the way (credit question post will be right after this) and in an extremely rare instance I've also been reading through the Rapture novel since a lot of people were recommending it. Not going to start an -actual- game book club yet, but it's better than I expected so far though definitely clunky with some prequelitis moments at a few points. It'll fold into some bits of the video nicely though, but I'm still not trying to go off too much about it especially since I have no idea where it fits in a post-Infinite world.

Speaking of the -actual- game club, have been METAL GARDEN will move to September 25th for now, and I'll update the previous post as well. I'm aiming to have BioShock 2 either out this friday (ETERNAL fridays) but if it does end up needing to be pushed from some Endless Legend 2 launch fun it'll mean the 18th is safer, and having two videos being wrapped in the same week could get messy. So this is more of a pre-emptive safety net, but nothing scary is going on just yet.Thanks as always for your support!
