Alright, time for deciding.

I'm torn between two Arcanum-adjacent videos that are fairly light on story. The first is Lord of the Rings: The Third Age which is a FFX clone that's astoundingly well done until the game just stops. The other is Duskers which is a horror strategy game about sending drones into derelict spaceships. Even if the winner doesn't make the cut this time, it'll likely become a video in the next few months.

Choose wisely!

Third Age always seemed real cool, but I'm way too into the idea of a video on Duskers to let that go by without a vote.

Bingus Pingus

Duskers is AMAZING! I really hope it wins the poll <3

Chase Cushman

I know nothing about Duskers, so I would be interested in a video on it

ToastyBrioche

I like when you cover horror games, even more when I know nothing about them. So Dusker for sure.

Dan Zynski

Duskers. Great story implied within it. You get a dog. Don't have to capture as much footage. I think it'd be less taxing to put out a vid on it.

Charles E

While a video on Third Age would be nice because it's one of the few games you've planned to cover that I have actually played, you're brief description of Duskers is far to cool to pass up.

Mr. Pie

All of you are letting EA Redwood/Visceral Studios down ☹️

Never Hard

Battle for Middle Earth 2 when?

Snayff

Both sound interesting, but in what way are they Arcanum-adjacent?

Chad Thundercock

If you more or less follow indie development then you'll know that Duskers is a certified hood classic. Meanwhile the Third Age, despite coming from EA and being a licensed LOTR title, is ironically enough more obscure - quick look at YT reveals maybe three videos that have more than 10k views. My vote goes for that. Also considering you got Sean Patrick Astin for a celebrity cameo the last time maybe this time you'll get John Rhys-Davies to tell us why Lord of the Rings™: The Third Age™, a game by Electronic Arts™ stops so abruptly™.

Mr. Nurse Mom

Having actually played both these games (was under leveled at the gauntlet that is Helms Deep because I was young and inexperienced with RPGs. Played awhile in Duskers, can't recall too much other than being stressed for my little robots) I vote for The Third Age. Partially because I want to see what the end of that game was, partially because I think the development of it would be interesting to learn about and I wonder if the Tolkien estate had an aneurysm over the story, since everyone was about 5 feet behind the fellowship the entire time.

Stephen Blane

I have never heard of Duskers but the brief description of it being a horror game with spaceship wrecks has sold me.

Siri Keeton

I think he means time-wise, that is, one will come out before the big A., and the other right after it

Snayff

Ah, thank you!

Strangely Brown

Man it's been so long since I played Third Age, that game was alright

Magnificent Beard

Man ever since you mentioned talking to Third Age devs and showed that break dancing Hadhod years ago I've been wanting to see you talk about Third Age. I think it was my first Lord of the Rings game and I still remember it pretty well.
