Evening!

Back in the country and back in the swing of things. There'll be a video next week on Genesis Rising, which is an obscure space RTS that Callisto Protocol of all things got me thinking about. Even at launch the game was unstable at best, and nowadays it's an even worse nightmare since there's no in mission save system and it has a nasty tendency of crashing.

I was hoping the video might be good to go this week when I first started, but between it being a complete pain in the ass to actually complete without being banished to the desktop over and over and another (maybe related?) PC issue that came up, it'll be coming out next week. Still working on Pathfinder in parallel, and that'll come out in April with luck, though they better not release another DLC for it. A new one just came out so I'll need to see how much that one adds as well.

Thanks as always for your support!

Wow I played this ages ago and could never remember the name or find my discs. Looking forward to the video

Will you be covering the new Warhammer III DLC at all? I really liked your videos on Warhammer II & Pre-Launch III

Just finished my first PC build and I'm loving my time playing Cyberpunk with it, what're your thoughts on the game now that CDPR has ironed out the bugs?

You know on the subject of obscure RTS games, I remeber there was a game where time travel was a game mechanic. Maybe look in to that?

Its a great story game held back by mediocre rpg elements and open world mechanics imo. If you play on the easier dofficulties and just focus on the story missions and major side missions it is really good. I think they shoulda gone with the open hubs like Deus Ex rather than the full open world.

Thanks for all that you do.

The one thing I remember from this game was despite the bizarre gieger-esque design of the ships, the protag was a standard early 2000's space marine in mechanical power armor.

Also, I don't know if you still have the list, but a "non crap" version of this kind of game would be "Conquest - Frontier Wars".

Keep playing weird RTS and you're gonna ends up playing Achron and talking about the department of defense in a video.
