Ally and Bernie walk up to the front door of the hall and show their badges to get in. The door person smiles and waves them in. The sign above the door reads LoDoCon Preview Night.

BERNIE: So what volume are you up to on One Piece?

ALLY: Oh gosh, 35, I think. I need to get back on that series! I go through waves with manga and anime. I’ll binge a bunch of stuff for like three months straight then take a year off. 

BERNIE: I’m like that way with some bands.
