Panel 1

Everyone is happily eating. Danni is talking after just taking a sip of her soup with a spoon. Titus is dipping a spring roll into saude. Ally is using chopsticks. Is she right or left handed? You decide! :-)

DANNI: Right. So people who stop by the table seemed to be looking, but few are putting down their hard earned dollars.

ALLY: Can I offer my thoughts?

DANNI: You are one with the collective! Your informative will be assimilated with our own.

TITUS: Oh wow, you better be ready for lots of Next Generation references, Ally.

Panel 2

Ally is talking. Marty offers her thoughts, too.

ALLY: I’m ready to engage!

ALLY: So... I think readers want to discover something new. But they don’t want to feel pressured to. Our presentation should be inviting, but allow for them space to take it all in without feeling overwhelmed.

MARTY: We could work with the flow of the table. Maybe elevate some items?

Panel 3

Danni is leaning over her soup into the conversation.

DANNI: I like it. But what about the Pirate Cat flag?

ALLY: I think we should raise it a little higher so people can see it from across the floor. A lot of these pop-up banners are obstructing views -- this is a way to stand out.

DANNI: Standing out is good. And so long as we have books we can stand by -- we’ll be a-ok.

ALLY (CAPTION): She really does have that fighting spirit. I wish I could be more animated like her sometimes. Not all the time, but to rise to certain challenges...
