Con’t from #506

Panel 1

Ally and Albert are older in this shot. They are having a picnic in a park.

In the background some little kids are flying kites. Their grandchildren, perhaps.

Maybe a futuristic skyscraper being built in the distance.

ALLY (CAPTION): And I wonder, who will be there with me as I grow old? I don’t need anyone, but I want someone to share all the things with -- to build something, perhaps...

Panel 2

We’re back at the party. Albert and Matthew are getting drinks from the bar.

Ally, Jolene and Katie are in the foreground.

JOLENE: So, are you going to say anything?

KATIE: Yeah, you can’t let things hang in the air.

ALLY: I’m not sure... What if he doesn’t feel that... way?

JOLENE: Trust me: He does!

Panel 3

Albert and Matthew walk back from the bar with drinks. Ally is in the foreground and is thoughtful.

ALLY (CAPTION): Why hasn’t he said anything before? Is he worried because we’re friends I might not consider the possibility? That I’d put him in a zone?

ALLY (CAPTION): He did see what happened with my last relationship. He has to know he’s not Jim, right?

ALLY (CAPTION): Oh wowsy. Just... wowsy.
