Panel 1

Ally stands before Albert. There’s a bit of confidence. She still has questions, but she’s willing to ask them face-to-face now. Albert has been waiting for a long time for this moment, maybe too long. He’s a bit older now, weathered but not yet jaded.

ALLY: Hey mister, there’s been something on my mind.

ALBERT: Oh yeah? Tell me.

ALLY: I can say anything?

ALBERT: Anytime. Anyplace. Night or day.

ALLY: Ok. Here it is.

Panel 2

Albert smiles knowingly. Ally continues to explain. There is a thought balloon showing her at a train station with a departures and arrivals sign in the background. Maybe use Union Station in Denver for reference but the details aren’t necessary. It’s more a dreamlike place than a real one.

ALLY: This world feels like it is whizzing by so fast -- like we’re at the station and all these trains just zip by... so many different ones leading to different places. But I know where I want to go and...

ALLY: ...well, I don’t want to miss it.

ALBERT: What’s that?

ALLY: A chance...

Panel 3

Ally looks up with the biggest hope in her eyes. This is it.

ALLY: Our chance.
