Someone left this by the water all by its lonesome. If I was to pan right and left you would see nothing but sand and grass. One wonders why people leave perfectly working items behind. Hopefully they came back for it and took it home with them. Either that, or a wanderer claimed it and turned it into a magical device to help collect refuse from the forgotten places. Or, as I like to think happened, aliens arrived at night, hovered over it in their spaceship, then locked their tractor beam on it. They studying how we cook things... But for what purpose?!
