Speaking of time, I cannot believe Achtung Baby, the album the song Zoo Station kicks off, turned 30-years-old this past November! It is by far my favorite recording of all-time. I'll have to write about what it means to me and how it continues to influence me as time goes on...

It's a simple matter of math and perspective. When you're 5, the previous year took up 1/5 of your life. At 10, it takes up 1/10. At 20, 1/20 At 50, 1/50. This year, I will see the last year taking up 1/65 of my life, which isn't much at all. As the fractions get smaller, so does the time passage seem to.
