One thing I learned while working in comics was to keep information within a trusted circle of friends. Networkers like Charlie always worked rooms to glean kernels of knowledge for whatever machinations they had in mind. It was a wild time when I was involved in the business as comics-to-film was booming and so many wanted to turn their ideas into movies or tv shows. Beyond what you see in Validation I'm not sure what else I want to say about those years. I'll sort it out in time 🙂
