It is helpful to have friends who are honest and give you solid intel about potential pitfalls. Gabby Smith is an amalgam of several really cool people I met while I worked in comics. Charlie is combination of some not-so-cool ones. I am fortunate to have listened to sound advice and made it out of the business intact. It paved the way to write this series. And am still inspired to create even more projects in the future. Thank you, Gabby Smiths of the world!
