I can understand that. I also understand why YouTube implemented that similar content policy, to prevent people from uploading exact copies of the same video, but it doesn't appear to account for people using the same script like in the case of the subreddit. Shame it affects the monetization of creators. It feels like a simple solution to a problem with a few exceptions.
