👉 House of the Dragon 👈 is a prequel to Game of Thrones, and Emma D'Arcy is so good in their acting, watch it, watch it! Other than that, I love feel-good movies like Green Book, Silver Linings Playbook, and The Intern. I've been trying to watch The Two Popes for about three days. Italian vibes are totally my thing, but my concentration never agrees. The dynamic between the two actors is lovely but I can't watch it without glancing at my phone every minute. 😮‍💨 And you're into Wanda and the witches crew? YES! I love Wanda, but her role in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was a bit...I think at that time, Marvel was trying too hard to connect the movies, so they kind of forgot about the core of the story. But Agatha brought some hope back to Wanda's storyline, so I still have hope for her (especially, with Death, so powerful). Watching the Marvel franchise feels like betting on the lottery. I'm going to see Thunderbolts* this Sunday, let's see how it goes 🤞 So we're going to get a big gift with this collaboration! The Pirate and the crew, and the names of the other artists have my tail wagging like crazy right now. I don't mind if it's going to be dramatic. Please, bring more dramatic into the light (thank you User_Unknown) I'm craving your dramatic content. It's been so longgg! And tigerlilytea, bro, sis, fam, friend, congrats!!! How's it goooing? 👆 The first season is so good, but since I played the games, I still can't bring myself to watch season 2. 😭 But yep, still recommend it. Pedro, Bella, and the whole cast are absolutely worth watching.

It’s going to be a pirate series?!! Yayy! I’m very excited and looking forward to the collab. I think it takes a lot of courage to put yourself out there and connect with new people, and I hope these new friendships turn out amazing for you, Storm. 😊 If I can be a bit vulnerable here.. for most of April, I stayed in my own little cocoon. It was an emotionally draining month. In a single day, I lost a grandma who was like a family to me and also had to finally let go of someone whom I’ve loved for a long time. It honestly feels like I lost two kinds of love at once. So I’m still in the process of grieving… But thankfully, the compilations of cats making ridiculous noises have been keeping me going. You know the ones that goes “awoo awoo” or “haheng” or “wiwiwi”? if you know, you know. 😉 Oh and owls! They’re so silly. Just cats with wings, really. Other than that, I’ve been spending my evenings in the backyard, sitting under a tree, listening to the sound of the wind, the trees, and the birds. It’s just easier to take things slow and let myself feel what I need to feel. I’ll be alright 👍 Sending love to anyone else crying one minute and laughing at cat videos the next 😆

If you like pirates watch Black Sails, and if you like anime/3d animation Blue Eyed Samurai is another good one too. Also getting a promotion to E-5 in the military is a fun time, sort of but I finished my model jet that I've been working on for like half a year and some change only to second guess myself on the canopy and then mess up the surface and now I need to figure out how to fix it.

Let it be known that, as of now, January shall now be known as May! It's all good, Storm. We all get tired. I imagine those ocean waves aren't doing you any favors to keep you awake. Congrats on the upgrade! You'll have to send us a picture of your set up soon. Were you using NT1-A's or something different? I am also glad you finally opened up Les Fleurs du mal (without getting it wet this time), as you said you wanted to read it for some time. I didn't know we were getting a spicy episode this early. Saucy indeed! You know, you are really spoiling us this week. Not only two uploads back to back, but a sequel to your pirate audio next week? And with Afterglow and Alex as well? That will make one swashbuckling 100th episode. I can't wait to hear it. Not even for the premiere, but I will try to hold out. Speaking of which, if you are looking for something to watch, I highly recommend watching Pirates of the Caribbean. The first one was phenomenal! The sequels were alright, but I would recommend skipping the most recent two (On Stranger Tides and Dead Men Tell No Tales). I feel they don't capture the feeling of the original three (although the fourth installment has Penelope Cruz). If you're still on a Marvel binge though, my sister would recommend Loki. As for your questions for us, I am doing well. I finalized the onboarding paperwork for my new apartment and am packing up my things. Had a few laughs with some old friends from uni. While I have been unemployed for some time, it has helped me work on some hobbies of mine in the middle of applying for jobs. I am not where I want to be in life right now, but I am getting there. One step at a time. Anything you want to talk about? Anyway, I should probably be off to sleep. Thanks for everything, Storm.

Hahaha I did start watching House of the Dragon with my dad and I really liked the first 2 episodes! I was hoping for a much different storyline though, with more female empowerment rather than female oppression (though it's a prequel so it makes sense I guess, that things were even worse back then). I was disappointed afterwards so I stopped watching and only saw a few bits here and there as my dad kept watching. I also loved Silver Linings Playbook! That's totally my kind of movie 👌

-Storm- Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence were so, so, so incredible weren't they? I remember watching it with my friend, and there was this foreigner sitting right beside us, she was quietly giving a standing ovation while I was still sobbing. And about House of the Dragon, yep...I kind of felt that way at some point too, but I guess that's the direction of the story? The first season felt more like setting things up and introducing all the new characters, I almost dropped it too, but I really liked the characters, so🤞

But since after losing my site writing poetry is getting harder and harder. I’m a visual writer, and when I visualize the words in my head, it just seems… Disjointed. Oh well! Interesting. Last I checked, those mics are discontinued. Glad you were able to find another. Any reason you chose that mic in particular? I've been considering buying a RØDE Signature Series myself. You're welcome! Congratulations on this milestone of yours! You know, I have never seen a YouTuber grow to these heights since the days of Markiplier. You should be proud of that. (Besides your talent for acting, accents, writing, and audio design, what are your secrets?) Not surprised you're familiar with the legend of CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow with you being a pirate like the rest of us. Like I said though, you're not missing out on too much. On Stranger Tides, while it does have Penelope Cruz, isn't the most canonical to the main trilogy and feels like a side quest. The most recent one, Dead Men Tell No Tales (or, as I affectionately call it, No Tales for Dead Men due to Javier Bardem's presence), hired back a lot of the original cast, like Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley, but the characters just aren't the same. Thank you so much! I am indeed excited, but also a little worried. It's been nearly 10 years since I have been there and so much as changed. Indeed, where I live now isn't perfect (the weather has actively tried to kill me in the past), but I have grown accustomed to it. Nevertheless, there isn't much opportunity out here for me, and I need a change of scenery. It has been too long since I've seen the ocean.

If the Walking Dead has taught us anything, it's the living we should be afraid off. (That, and zombie media never uses the term "zombie" oddly enough.) You are really missing out, Storm. There is also some positive representation of same-sex relationships in the show. This reminds me, some other ASMRtists, like Alex, sometimes host movie nights on their Patreons and Discords. Could be something to try in the future?

You're welcome, Tigerlilytea. I can't imagine what it would be like to lose one's vision. Despite this, you were still able to craft beautiful stanzas. That's nothing short of inspiring. Also adding onto what you and Toy said, art is never complete. Back in my English class, I was told something similar to this. There are always things we can add to our work to make it better, but it is only complete when we stop. This is a common pitfall for artists and perfectionists (especially in r/ASMRscripthaven), the need to constantly improve to make your work the best it can be. From what I've found, there is nothing wrong with revising and editing. However, if all you do is revise and edit, you will never be able to publish your work. So, don't be afraid to call something good enough. If you do feel it's missing something in the future, you can always make a remaster or add it into another project. The effectiveness of art comes down to how it makes us feel, and we all feel differently. So, there really isn't a true metric to to determining how "good" art is.

They're zombie adjacent but not quite the same. It does have some very brief moments of horror/thriller vibes but it isn't really "scary" in terms of jump scares. More like "humanity is doomed" kind of scary that just instills feelings of dread

I see. I have heard many recommend it too, especially for ASMR. Thinking back on it, I guess it would be more cost effective to buy a mic you already have than two new ones. Good thinking! Aye, Matey, I be in agreement! I think there are so few of them because they were not particularly popular in the past. In fact, some often described them as "box office poison." It wasn't until the original Pirates of the Caribbean that this stigma changed. Who knew a movie based on a theme park ride could change the entire film industry? Nowadays, I think companies are a bit hesitant about making new pirate media because it may be too similar to Pirates. Yet, that hasn't stopped many from embracing it. Reminds me of AC4: BF where one music track, entitled "The High Seas," has a movement similar to "He's a Pirate." Anyway, I talk too much. Thank you so much for your kind words. Your response really made my day.

👆 and the chemistry between Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey is really something. The same goes for the voice actors of these two characters in the game👏 both the game and the serie have amazing storytelling. I cried, terribly.

Love the way the new setup sounds. Very crisp and the more pronounced binaural effect is such a great trigger amplifier for me. Well worth it. The collab sounds very exciting too. Another collab with either Glow or Alex was highly anticipated so both at the same time is a very pleasant surprise. Honestly, I normally love April. I have birthday bias plus it starts to become Autumn here (my favourite season), but this time the month's challenges humbled me. I still have a long year ahead with big projects at work on the horizon so hopefully I can refocus again. Your work always helps, plus hearing that you're making strides is good inspiration. Please keep it up.
