The pact seems to have worked. I don't know if it was the right choice, but I have to admit it was useful. Apps can play tricks on you. I remember meeting quite a few people on an app three years ago, but then the trail went cold, so I ended up giving up on it. The self-collab and the French accent made for a great combo, Frenchy cool, Doubly fun! Et incroyablement AweStorme! 😍

OMAHGAH. This one is wonderful. Absolutely wonderfully uncomfortable. Realistically speaking, if someone were to compliment me this much on a date I'd be nervous as hell. But the kind of anxiety and uncomfortable feeling from THIS date only comes from the nagging thought "Is this even real?" 🥲 I had to listen to this one a few times. There are so many signs, some more subtle than others, that really give the uneasy anxious feeling. Aside from specific words she's using, the whole dialogue with our date is a huge red flag. It's both unsettling and ironic how she describes previous conversation as "lacking" and us showing "little interest". Yet the whole date so far is literally just her flirting/complimenting us. This "conversation" is just as shallow and lacks any real engagement. And again with the diabolical use of positive affirmations. Having the listener repeat them as if it'll do something, when they honestly just feel like empty words in this context. Especially because the listener clearly doesn't believe what they're saying. The fact they had to step away and even had to ask the demon, makes it clear they know this isn't real. And that's where the uneasiness comes from, realizing our date's feelings aren't even real. It means she's being manipulated on some level to feel this way about us. Absolutely LOVE the tense discomfort I feel in the first half and the anxious feeling of wanting to know what happens next from the second half. It's difficult (admittedly I'm not exactly bursting with self confidence either), but I hope our listener will learn to love themselves and develop the self confidence needed to be able to actually find something real. Not sure what the demon means by deposit instead of payment. Maybe there's still a chance we can get out of this? 😭 (And Applebee's is a WILD choice for a first date 💀) Definitely a fun audio/story to listen to. There are so many things to look out for that I'll have it on repeat. Thank you for making me feel uncomfortable 🙏🙃 (Sounds like you had fun with this one 😊 I eagerly await the audio where you voice 4 (read that as 20) different characters 😂)

This was SO deliciously painful to listen to. To quote from "Friends on the Other Side", 'you got what you wanted, but you lost what you had'. Initially I found the demon's deal appealing, but now some of those potential unseen consequences are starting to crop up. It's also painful for someone who has HAD problems like this with romance, where I don't know how to put myself out there (for someone with anxiety and AuDHD it's TOUGH) and past trauma from really bad relationships creates a certain atmosphere of just desiring connection without considering the consequences AND responsibilities of that connection.

You’re sweet for still having hope for the listener 🤭(however making a deal with a demon rarely ends well right? 🤔) buuuut you're right to be suspicious about the demon’s ulterior motives 👀 (I don't actuallyyy think they're at an Applebee's - I think that's just a jab from the demon cuz she thinks the restaurant is tacky 😂)

You really know how to punch us in the emotional gut 🥲 I can always be hopeful, but you're right. It would be far more interesting to see what tragedy will befall our poor listener 😭 If anything, I'd think it'd be more appropriate to see another part to the branching Guardian Angel storyline for something more hopeful. Maybe after some self development, there's a bit of meddling on her part and an unexpected meet cute 🤔🫣 (Lol if the restaurant is as tacky as an Applebee's, it doesn't make that choice for a first date any better 😂💀)
