“There’s no way that Adam dies in this that would be crazy”

Geveryging

I don’t think anyone could predict that the seemingly main villain would die in the first season anyways

Indigo

3:48 why did Anthony’s pole dismount have to be so beautifully flawless?!

Indigo

6:23 loser baby plays in the background and Husk’s pupils dilate when he looks at Anthony

Phoenix_mercury

Prophet Casper returns(but in reverse)🤣🤣

Indigo

14:06-14:39 I love how everyone gets their moment to shine on the battlefield and the theme music reflects that

Geveryging

He still got 3 different correct predictions right before it happened in this episode somehow

Geveryging

39 minuites in Open arms :0

G_Rez

Very funny that he says it's been an entire week when he actually posted this before episode 7

Emma

Okay, so if I may suggest some fan-songs to watch related to hazbin? Deal maker, insane, alastor's game, addict, my machine (sir pentious' strike), lute vs lilith- stayed gone reprise. There are other's, but these are so freaking good and I think some of them have even been acknowledged as being canon backstory? If you don't want to do that, completely fine of course!

Liz Lilliman

Loved watching it with you. Was confused for a few seconds (blame pks) for the pancake but and then it dawned.

geekygiraffe

The big reactions are what I'm here for cause I felt the same!! The reactions are so fun and the song analysis is really interesting!

The Feywild

In regards to Alastor's little bit in that song, he's just talking about him being trapped in his own deal with someone we don't know the identity of, and "unclip my wings" is a common phrase. It can be assumed that Alastor's deal is restricting his power in some way, so that is what he means when he says "once I figure out how to unclip my wings". His deal is restraining him and he desperately wants to escape it. Nothing to do with him being an angel or fallen angel. Just so you know :)

nathan smith

Why did he react that way to pancakes?

Liz Lilliman

Don't read if you want no spoilers to epic. Will try and nest In the cyclopes saga polities is squashed by the cyclops. Polities is a pure and happy character and odysseus's best friend in the musical. It's become a epic fan joke that cyclops likes pancakes as that's what he squashed polities as. Polities wears a headband as since then Casper has worn a black headband for him.

It was really a pleasure to see your reactions, one of the best I must say. Can't wait to see you react to Helluva Boss, i think is even better than Hazbin with some really great songs in there

AstralAegis

Money isn't the root of all evil. Love of money is the root of all evil!

AstralAegis

Lucifer fucking trolled the shit out of you. I'm laughing so hard rn

AstralAegis

So, as far as Alastor's magic is concerned, he originally was going to be tightly tied to Voodoo practice. It's always been in his aesthetic. Look at the imagery when he does a deal with Charlie in episode 7. That being said, the specificity of voodoo symbolism has been scaled back dramatically from what was intended, since it's rather controversial to depict. You see, Voodoo is a real practicing religion, and it considers itself closed; that is to say, they find it offensive if you depict it outside of actually practicing it (Or recording it historically). This is compounded by the fact that Hollywood and Christianity have demonified the practice, and, indeed, Alastor's depiction plays into that. Vivzie has been working on Hazbin Hotel for years, and I don't think there was any malicious intent behind Alastor's depiction. Indeed, she's clearly taken the course correction to heart, and, like I said, made efforts to clearly make it more vague than his depiction in the pilot. Ultimately, his aesthetic at this point somewhat informs too much of the character's identity to ever be fully divorced from it's origination, and I think it's up to the individual whether they find his aesthetic offensive or not. You're always going to have some conservative person from a closed religion find it offensive (I'm pretty sure there are Catholics that find Hazbin Hotel's depiction of hell offensive), so the balance of respect is a personal judgement call here. In any case, this is all drama from the pilot that is old hat at this point. TL;DR - Alastor's really cool aesthetic is based on voodoo and W*nd*go aesthetics that some people find offensive, but has been made a bit vaguer and generalized in the series proper to better differentiate itself from its inspirations.

"There's no way Adam dies in this, that would be crazy" Casper has two modes: "Prophet Casper", and "being very hilariously wrong about something in predictions" 😂

Felicity McDonald

Because he's an experienced pole dancer of course!

TheBookWyrm

Lucifer: who wants pancakes? Casper: *immediately triggered* It was so fun to watch you experience this for the first time! If you haven’t seen it yet, I would definitely recommend also watching the “official” video for the song ‘Addict’; it’s the same kind of almost-canon as the pilot, sung by the original cast members, and covers Angel and Cherri’s backstories a little more.

Felicity McDonald

Oh btw in case you don't know your animal biology, the thing Angel said about Pentious' genitals is accurate to male snakes irl - they're referred to as "hemipenes"

Danika Wolfbaine

I just commented that you needed to do predictions on episode 7 😂 start episode 8 and you instantly do!

Ren

A snake was the first to fall and the first to rise (Lucifer & Sir Pentious)

ShadowFox1412

So it’s theorized that Adam and lutes masks were glitching out because they attacked hellborns with the intent to kill, which goes against the contract they have with Lucifer. (Dazzle the dragon lute killed is hellborn, and Charlie ofc is hellborn.) it’s also theorized that with the breaking of the contract it allowed Lucifer to actually step in and fight back. That before they did that he couldn’t interfere.

Gedan&Jackal

Adam dying is truly the most tragic thing to happen for this series. [/hj] (but honestly, i will miss him.♡ I hope we get some sir pentious lines in heaven. I'll miss his voice in Hazbin if not.) Brandon as Katie killjoy is such an unexpected treat. Excited for you to hear more of him~ (hopefully)

Zakksu

This was fantastic! I loved all your reactions & predictions! I'm super excited for whenever s2 drops & your future takes on Helluva Boss too! Adam despite him being a douchebag was an entertaining char for sure I kinda hope he's "reborn" in hell just to keep him around lol And yea any time I hear jokes about pancakes I get triggered too I love Polites too much 😭 Anyhoo loved your takes & can't wait to hear all the songs you'll make covers of in the future!

casperclysm

alone this was so worth paying for! i had a blast watching you react to what's probably my favourite show atm along with helluva boss - which I'm really hoping you'll also react to! it has some great music too!! happy to see more of your content in general though regardless

MrGrimReaper

cant wait for helluva boss reactions

Faen_Galan

Polities trauma apparently is still around

PinkClouds94

Pentious having 2 dicks is anatomically correct for snakes lmao they're called hemipenes
