🎉 Good evening, everyone, and welcome! 🎉

I’m Alex—your host, your narrator, and the mildly overwhelmed creative force behind the chaos—and tonight we gather for the 4th Annual Striped Story Awards.

This is the night we pop the champagne, adjust the mic stand, and celebrate a full year of stories. From January through December, I published 30 stories—nearly one every two weeks. That’s a lot of words, a lot of late nights, and a frankly suspicious amount of creative caffeine.

None of that happens without you. Your reads, your reactions, your comments—those are what let me spend time doing what I love. I’m endlessly grateful.

But enough heartfelt monologue—

you’re here for the awards.

And you voted, so let’s get to it.

Thank you so much for reading—not just the stories, but this whole slightly dramatic awards show too. Hearing which stories you love helps more than you know.

It’s a little silly, sure—but I genuinely love seeing where your favorites overlap (or clash) with the ones closest to my heart. Sometimes the stories I’m most unsure about end up being the ones you embrace the hardest, and that never stops meaning the world to me.

Here’s to sharper scenes, bolder risks, and even better stories in 2026.

See you next year—same spotlight, bigger feelings. 🥂✨
