Alex has a special way of cheering for her favorite sports teams.

It's time for another AMA where y'all can ask any questions that are on your mind or that you would like to know! These can be questions for me, or my OCs! Anything!!!

If you are asking them to an OC, please include "For [OC Name]:" at the beginning of your question! Just so I know!

Please note that the OCs I own (and have art of) are as follows:

Alex (tiger)

Charlie (mouse)

Dylan (bunny)

Lauré (red panda)

Logan (raccoon)

Cyrus (horse)

Axel (tiger, Alex's brother)

Other characters that have appeared in stories and have art, aren't mine, sorry! If the character is in a story but not the artwork, they are most likely mine, so those are fair game as well!

Ask away in the comments and I will reply to them as they come in! You can also ask them on the Discord! You have until the end of the month to ask! I will come and answer them a few times throughout the month, so don't worry if you don't have any idea what to ask yet, there's plenty of time.

I await your curiosities! 🥰

To Alex: Have you ever had a near death experience while performing? If so, what happened? To Charlie: Obvious answer aside, what would you change about yourself if you could? To Cyrus: What is a secret hobby of yours nobody knows about? To Logan: Actually, this question is from Charlie! *Slides envelope across table* I have no clue what is reads. (Upon opening it, Logan is asked by Charlie if she plans to do anything with her hair, or if she plans to keep it a horrible atrocity)

For Axel: We know you’re a top for women & a bottom for guys, but have you ever felt the urge to try the reverse just to see what it’s like?

Once again it’s time for everyone’s favorite podcast: The Best Worst Interview Show on the air!! Hello everyone welcome to the show. I of course am your host Talon Fuller, joining me once again is the super gorgeous multi talented and just a fine feline to be around is Miss Alex Marx!! Alex it’s such a pleasure to have you here again. It’s been awhile since we’ve seen you, still riding the rocket of the last album? That’s sounds amazing. I was hoping we could go a little deeper with the questions this time, with your permission of course. It seems like anyone with a little time can search the net for answers but there are somethings you can only get from the source and I’d like to get know something that almost no one would know! You’ve talked about your family in the past and given some of the standard answers about them but I was wondering, just how supportive were they in the beginning? Do you feel the fame and the money and all the globe trotting has put a rift between you all at all? Just from my own experiences with my brother sometimes even if you don’t mean for it to things like that can cause problems. Well I certainly hope that all is well on that front. Is there any reasonably embarrassing story from childhood you wouldn’t mind being out in the world? Oh wow I thought I had it rough as a kid!(laughing as he speaks) Finally, is there something you’d like to tell people about you. Just an in general fun fact that only your closest friends would know? It doesn’t have to be anything super telling just a for funsies kind of thing to see who all actually listens to this at the next Meet and Greet? Well let’s hope something comes of that, Alex as always it’s been wonderful to see you again I truly hope you have a wonderful rest of your day I know this is the last stop of the press for the day so go home take a load off and maybe order some takeout!! As always folks I’m Talon Fuller and this has been the Best Worst Interview show on the air here at WPAWB my guest has been Alex Marx and here’s to hoping for a something new in the near future!!

Q1: Hello everyone welcome to the show. Alex takes a sip of the coffee, wrinkles her nose at the temperature, too hot, and sets it back down, curling both hands around it like she's going to try again in thirty seconds regardless. "Talon. My favorite interviewer who pretends he doesn't have a favorite guest." She grins, wide and warm, ears perking forward. "Yeah, honestly? Still riding it. It's wild because you put something out and you think okay, that's done, that's in the world now, and then six months later someone's shouting lyrics at you from the fourteenth row in a city you've never been to and you realize it's got its own life now. We just wrapped a festival run in Europe, did a string of shows in Asia before that, and I think I've slept in my own bed maybe eleven times since January?" She laughs, throaty and genuine, tail flicking contentedly behind the chair. "But I'm not complaining. This is the dream. This is literally the dream. I'm just living in it and trying not to trip." Q2: I was hoping we could go a little deeper with the questions this time, with your permission of course. Alex's ears give a little flick—intrigued, maybe slightly cautious, but she settles deeper into the chair and waves a paw. "Oh, I like that energy. Go for it. I trust you, Talon. Mostly." A sly grin. "Let's see where this goes." Q3: You’ve talked about your family in the past and given some of the standard answers about them but I was wondering, just how supportive were they in the beginning? The grin softens into something quieter. Alex's claws tap once against the ceramic of the mug, a little rhythmic 'tink tink tink' while she gathers her thoughts. Her tail slows its movement, curling around the arm of the chair. "Yeah. So. The standard answers exist for a reason, right? Because the real answer's messy, and nobody wants to be the girl on a press tour airing out family stuff." She exhales through her nose, slow. "The truth is they were supportive in the way that people are supportive when they don't think it's actually going to happen. You know? Like, 'oh, that's great, honey, you go sing your little songs.' Very encouraging. Very warm. Zero percent belief that it was going to turn into a career." She mimics a sweet, patronizing voice, ears tilting back. "'Have you thought about something to fall back on?' That was the phrase. I heard it so many times I could set it to music. My dad especially, he's practical. Logistical brain. He wanted a plan B, a plan C, a backup to the backup. And I get it now, as an adult, I really do. He was scared for me. But at seventeen, eighteen? It felt like nobody in my own house thought I was good enough." She pauses, scratching behind one ear, then lets out a breath that's half laugh, half sigh. "My mom came around first. She came to my first gig, tiny venue, just a few blocks away from home, maybe forty people, half of them there for the other act and I looked out from the stage and she was crying. Not sad crying. That mom crying where they just look at you like they're seeing you for the first time. After that she was ride or die. Dad took longer. I think he didn't fully get on board until the first album charted, and even then he sort of—he'd brag about me to his coworkers but still ask me if I was putting money into a savings account in the same phone call." She grins. "He's come a long way. We're good now. But those early years? I was basically doing it alone and pretending I wasn't." Q4: Do you feel the fame and the money and all the globe trotting has put a rift between you all at all? Just from my own experiences with my brother sometimes even if you don’t mean for it to things like that can cause problems. Alex nods slowly, tongue pressing against the inside of her cheek while she thinks. "Yeah. Yeah, I'd be lying if I said no." She picks up the mug again, takes a real sip this time, and holds it in both paws against her chest like a little shield. "It's not a dramatic rift, nothing like, nobody's not speaking. But there's a distance. Not geographic, even though that's part of it. It's more like... they still live in the same world they've always lived in, and I come home and I don't fit in the space I used to fit in anymore. I'll be at dinner and someone will mention the price of something and I'll realize I haven't thought about the price of something in two years and I feel this guilt just crash over me." Her ears flatten slightly, and her voice drops. "Or I'll be telling a story and realize halfway through that it sounds like bragging even though I'm just... talking about my Tuesday. 'Oh yeah, I was in Milan' and the table goes quiet for a second. Just a second. But you feel it." She shifts in the chair, tucking her other leg up now, making herself smaller without seeming to realize it. "I send money home. I've tried to do things—fly them out to shows, set my mom up with some stuff she needed. And that helps, but it also creates a thing, you know? A dynamic. Suddenly you're not just the daughter anymore, you're the daughter who pays for things, and that changes how people talk to you whether they mean it to or not." A long pause. Her tail curls tight. "I'm working on it. We're all working on it. I love them. They love me. We're just... learning a new shape." Q5: Well I certainly hope that all is well on that front. Is there any reasonably embarrassing story from childhood you wouldn’t mind being out in the world? The heaviness breaks like a window opening. Alex's ears snap forward and she lets out a bark of a laugh, nearly sloshing coffee over the rim of the mug. "Oh god. Oh no. You want one?" She sets the mug down, presses both paws over her face, and her tail starts lashing behind her in that way it does when she's trying not to lose it. "Okay. Okay. I was—I think I was nine? Maybe ten. And I was suddenly obsessed with this idea that I was going to be a gymnast. I still wanted to be a singer, but I'd watched the Olympics and I was like, that's me, that's my destiny, I'm going to do a backflip off the balance beam and the whole world is going to know my name." She drops her hands, eyes bright with the mortification of someone who has made peace with a memory but will never fully recover from it. "So I set up this whole... routine in the park. On top of the fence. I had my mom's old leotard on, which did not fit, I had a scrunchie in my hair, I had the whole aesthetic locked in, and I invited the entire neighborhood to come watch. I went around and knocked on doors. I was marketing this event." She's laughing now, barely getting the words out, one hand braced on her knee. "So I climb up on the fence, and I'm standing up there like I'm about to address the nation, and I go into this. I don't even know what to call it, this spin move that I had invented, fully invented, it existed nowhere in gymnastics, and my foot goes straight through the fence board and I just drop. Straight down. Straddled the fence. In front of eleven people. I could not walk right for two days. My dad had to repair the fence and he kept muttering about it for weeks. The neighbor's kid called me Splinters until middle school." Alex wipes a tear from the corner of her eye, still grinning. "The leotard ripped too. Right up the back. My mom's leotard. That I did not ask to borrow. So I also got grounded. It was a full disaster." Q6: Finally, is there something you’d like to tell people about you. Just an in general fun fact that only your closest friends would know? It doesn’t have to be anything super telling just a for funsies kind of thing to see who all actually listens to this at the next Meet and Greet? Alex tilts her head, ears rotating like little satellite dishes while she thinks. Her claws drum on the arm of the chair in a quick little pattern—a musician's habit, always tapping out rhythms on whatever's nearby. "Okay, here's one. And I'm putting this out there specifically to see who brings it up, so, listeners, you're on notice." She sits up straighter, pointing at the mic with one claw. "I am a genuinely excellent cook. Like, genuinely. Not 'I can follow a recipe' excellent. I mean I can break down a whole fish, I make my own curry paste from scratch, I have a sourdough starter that's been alive for four years and has a name. His name is David Attendough." She says this with complete sincerity, paw over her heart. "David Attendough has traveled with me on tour. He has been in hotel rooms in nine countries. My tour manager hates him. I do not care." She leans back, satisfied. "So if anyone comes up to me at a meet and greet and says 'how's David Attendough,' I'll know they actually listened, and they're getting a hug and probably a jar of starter if I have one on me." Talon grins, shaking his head. "Well, let's hope something comes of that. Alex, as always, it's been wonderful to see you again. I truly hope you have a wonderful rest of your day. I know this is the last stop of the press for the day, so go home, take a load off, and maybe order some takeout!!" Alex stands, stretching long and feline, arms above her head, back arching, tail extending its full length behind her before she relaxes with a satisfied sigh. "Takeout? Talon. Were you not listening? I have David Attendough at home. I'm making something beautiful tonight." She pulls him into a hug across the desk, clapping him once on the back. "Thanks for having me. Always a pleasure. Best Worst is the best best, and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise." She throws a wave over her shoulder as she heads off set, tail swaying, already pulling her phone out of her back pocket.
