Grinder was good. But I did chuckle at the new title.

Danny Joyce

Haha, definitely Not grinder. It was just too close to the dating app.

Richard Bamberg

Never did figure out the placeholder title, but this one looks obvious. Great graphics on all your books!

saffy

“Not Grinder” is an excellent choice.

Mister Kelley

Changing the title is a big deal, we should celebrate, I think another chapter or 2 would be just the party we can get behind

donmon

thank god haha

gratch42

But the sequels… grindier, grindiest, mostest grindy, even more grind than before, and supergrindyfabulous…

Nick Drake

Haha man call it whatever you want except “Basement Stairs to Nowheres”

Nick Drake

Huh “grinding mobs” or “farming mobs” or even rarely “camping spawns or spawn points” we gamers knew exactly what you were going for. Wow circa 2008 is what I thought of first not the dating app but I’m old enough I met my wife the old fashion way.

What's wrong with grinder?

Went from a sub sandwich, to 'eating tacos' ? Arts nice, nice to see two distinct knives.

I found a goblin girl in my mansion basement - or that too Isikai like?

Silent Monk

Off topic : Why can I access the patreon content for free on another site? The content seems to update when you release Grinder content, but I can, as I write this, use that site to access all of the patreon content including attachments - such as a free copy of W1 & W2.

I really don't understand three things that are major plot holes. First, he brought Heather with him and leaves her in the house asleep while chasing something though the portal door. Second, he has clothes and weapons and just like a ding bat decides to not get dressed and armed with his companion when he notices the cobblestone/cement basement changes. Third, he does not close the open door and secure the house. Why?

When's the expected release date? Can't wait to read it

Richard Bamberg

Personally, I liked the Grinder title better, even if I didn't know its background. Have you given a hint as to your other nom de plume? It was obvious from Warlock that it wasn't your first novel. Great job and your readers (Audible) are perfect.

Patrick St. Pierre

Oh thank god. I remember telling you about that a while ago and saw that you still were calling it Grinder, and I was like, “well, he’s the author, his choice”, but I can’t say I’m mad you finally caved lol
