Nick

I like the cover.

Mike G.

It’s lovely…. Something about the face feels odd to me, but not in any horrible way, so it probably keeps it from being the same as every other cover,

Michael McGuire

Absolutely stunning! Wondering a bit about the super red cheeks though.

Jesse

I like it.

mhaj58

Such a sweetheart, loving Rachel’s new place in the coven

Posiden 300

Love Rachel in the Grove.

archos_akhar

Instantly recognized Rachel (blush + cute + raven hair = Rachel), so bang up job there. Altar looks about knee high given that perspective (ex-photographer, not every one will notice). The mana streamers (?) look like some kind of binding spell.

Nyx

Love it!

CyberTurtle

She’s supposed to be the super athletic one right? I expected her to have a little more muscle definition.

mario64

Cute. Maybe a Lil more muscle.

Johnetta

I LOVE IT! I do think the artist can add some lines for muscle tone in her legs and maybe round and bulk her shoulders a bit. Also, maybe the magic can be more of a cloud around her hands or some kind of explosive looking aura around her body....the gold bands look like she's bound. Unless that's what you are going for. The Alter should maybe look more man made they do have sex on it...

Lord Dagen

Rachel that I pictured was more like say an athlete/gymnast build. This picture while awesome doesn’t have enough definition for that. The face is spot on but body is too lithe.

Douglas Custard

Needs to look more athletic like someone that plays soccer or la crosse for a living. Use a USA player from the Soccer team for a template or example.

Ralph

Awesome cover! She looks great, I can’t wait for the audio book!

Tom

Pretty girl, but not what I imagined Rachel to be. I agree with those who point out that she does NOT look like an athlete. Noah in the book talks about how well defined her muscles are. More importantly, the Rachel of the binding scene is not the shy, timid Rachel of the first book. She is driven and impatient to get her binding done. I would expect an expression on her face more like what you gave Cassandra on the cover of book two. Also, though this is just tacky, it looks like she is wearing a bra. That's not what is supposed to be under the ritual robes.

Jeff Hanke

I agree with what Tom said, i would also add that the face looks too young for a college age person and she looks pouty almost sad not what i picture Rachel to look like. The art work is nice but it just doesn't make me think of Rachel.

T W Hardwick

The face is too young, like makeup on a child. I alway thought of Rachel's hair as a lighter color. She should seem shorter and more athletic/defined too. I do like the ritual robes and the binding magic. Wisps of mana would look cool too.

Nick Drake

I think it’s fine. She kind of looks like a “Bratz” doll…she needs a o look more mature this girl is a college athlete…I’ve never seen a lacrosse or field hockey player look that frail and “baby ish”

Eric Vandet

Needs to be both more athletic and more enthusiastic! This is Rachel! she was pulling Noah and pushing Cass to get them to the grove quicker - this picture doesn't have that puppy dog look, nor is it someone that Noah would "This girl is ripped, I need to go to gym more. Cute girl, NOT Rachel.

Forkbeard83

My apologies all, it was a nice 69 likes but had to ruin it. Excellent work, it's hard to get the athletism in without ruining the cute, shy image of the last two books.

The Audience

Rachel is well past being shy, her gaze is insistent saying, “Noah….now!!”

VitalAbyss

It's okay. It's a little... Cartoonie... I guess. I'm not expecting realism but I would rate this cover below the previous 2.

Max

She looks tied up with the magic. Is that on purpose?

ald0s

tbh i think you should keep this. i dont understand a lot of the critique in the comments. we are talking about girls that are able to change their looks with magic and i think that this depicts rachel pretty well. shy/innocent/cute is realy hard to combine with athletic... this is very close in my opinion. when i remember right noah also realizes how athletic she actually is the moment he sees her toned stomach .... not so much the legs and arms - during the scenes in the book....

CyberTurtle

I also think a little flame in one of her hands would be a nice touch to show her passion, her heart fire, one of her favored ways of shedding her excess magic etc

Joshua

I feel like with all the comments in the books about her booty, to not show it off a little is a crime.

AlexG

I’m not sure what an unathletic 14 year old girl has to do with Rachel, though?

Marc Sorensen

Dear Author, The Image Rendering of Rachel in the Grove is amazing! She is quite beautiful! And to you ‘Nay Sayers’, you’re failing to consider the location of the image. The image depicts Rachel standing in the Grove. The Magic of the place or the event would change how you perceive her!

Greg

I love the concept! A little to childlike though…..

Richard Bamberg

Nice, altar looks appropriate, robe too. I think it’s good as is.

Codyman27

I feel like she needs a spell stick jersey

donmon

I like it, not quite the Rachel I had in my head but it's nice to see how Daniel has in his

Cormag81

I like it though I might recommend changing how the belt of magic goes over her arms. As it is now they look kinda like bindings which is more Sam's thing then Rachel's. This might give people the wrong idea about her willingness to be there as well

gratch42

Scene composition and Rachel looks great except the head looks too squashed/fake somehow… ? Sorry.

foldedcorners

Seems skinnier than I imagined. I do like the art itself, but not sure how accurate it is to rachel's description in the books

Martin D Bowling

Where's the competition? Kinda like to see the runners up first. This one i hope isn't the final draft if chosen though.

Parker Bond

Is the moon in the right phase for this scene?

Controlah

I'd like to see the other concepts, but for god's sake don't have a vote. Remember those who can do, those can't teach, and those without an artistic bone, like me, comment.
