We were in the middle of recording an episode when the cast list dropped. We didn't have time to watch the full Meet the Queens video at the time, but I pulled up the promo looks so we could review them. This is the first time Bob and Monét have seen the cast list and their initial reactions to the queens. The public episode and review of the full video were filmed the day after, which you saw here as a live.

To me being funny does not a comedy queen make. Monet IS funny as a lot of queens are but I wouldn’t say she’s KNOWN for being funny. Bobs brand to me IS being funny. Like Jaida Essence Hall, extremely funny as well but who would call her a comedy queen? She’s know for her beauty. Monet gives well rounded talented and congenial (like many have pointed out..very charismatic!) it doesn’t mean she’s not funny. This also made me think of Onya, super funny but I wouldn’t call her a comedy queen either. I would maybe say a comedy queen is someone like Cracker? Maybe a Tina Burner? A Tammy Brown!
