Having a ball here in jolly old England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿! We ended up seeing 3 shows; The Lion King (fantastic!), Tina Turner (stunning!), & Moulin Rouge (good). We’re sad to be leaving tomorrow morning but have loaded up with goodies for Tesco & should be back near the end of summer, yay! We also went to an amazing, new place called Johnson’s of Old Hurst. It’s a family run Zoo, farm shop, steakhouse, tea room, butchers, gift shop & more located in a beautiful Cambridgeshire hamlet with outdoor play areas and woodland walk. Alright ladies, our margarine tubs in the states are round but almost nobody buys it anymore. Too unhealthy. Tip: heat up the clay in the meecrowahvé for a few seconds at a time. The same for fondant, gum paste, etc.

Fuck, that theme tune brings back some memories. When I was young and living on my own I was in the roughest council estate ever. Everyone was pulling some kind of scam, cars with no insurance or tax etc… back in the days when you could get away with that shit. No one bought a tv licence, we’d just phone everyone up if we saw the van pulling in the estate and everyone would turn their TVs off 😂 I had my telly on the wall where the window was so you couldn’t see it, and didn’t I get a knock on the door ffs. The tv was off, after being given fair warning so I was trying to entertain my then 4yo little bro by colouring or some shit instead, but the door went and I was confronted by the wannabe copper demanding to see my licence. I went into defence mode, wouldn’t let him in and started shouting at the top of my voice telling him I didn’t own a tv, so stop singling me out and go to someone else’s door, because there DEFINITELY was no tv in this house… … Next thing you hear coming from my living room was the fucking klaxons and intro music for Art Attack going loud enough to be heard three streets away. My little brother had turned the telly on while I was mid-argument with the tv licence guy. Little bastard near had me arrested that day 😡

As a kid, I saw a similar project to this on HGTV, but it was a miniature gargoyle. I was obsessed with the idea, but wasn't sure where I was going to find a small gargoyle to make a mold of in the first place, so I just thought about it for years and years. This is inspiring me to actually try to make it using clay to sculpt it!
