Vanilla, Girl Thing, 21st century girls, Hepburn. I’m sure I can think of more but would love a follow up. Maybe expand to forgotten groups like the Honeyz or Cleopatra (or even Cheeky girls 😂), who had a bit of success but then disappeared.

You need to take a look at Daphne and Celeste, even though they were more of a pop duo. They had quite an unfortunate performance at the Reading festival which always seemed like a bizarre booking to me!

OK my second suggestion is actually British at least but a pop duo again so I don't know if they count. They were called Shampoo and they had a massive hit with a song called Trouble that I hated at the time but I think it is quite a fun song now.
