this is the most exciting thing. i'm gonna limit myself to one boring comment, you most certainly do eat the seaweed with an onigiri! that clever packaging is keeping the rice and seaweed separate so the seaweed stays crunchy. the contrast of crunchy and soft is divaaaine. it's the same kind of seaweed (nori) that you get on maki sushi rolls and things like that ☺️ also i'm not spoiling it for myself by looking ahead in the video but if i find out that you went to Disneysea... i just might explode 🤩 also just in general, after following you for years, i'm so so proud of you having worked to a place where you can go on a trip like this (and buy a house for that matter!) Japan was my favourite place i ever visited in the world, and yeah just so happy for you and to get to see it again through your eyes. it's a real colliding of two worlds!

Hi you two, I’ve been watching you since the very early days when you were filming Drag Race reviews standing in a hallway. It’s been amazing watching your journey over the years, and somehow I never signed up for Patreon until your Japan series. I just wanted to say thank you. A few days ago I unexpectedly lost my executive job less than three weeks after relocating across the country for it. Overnight I lost my income, and I’m now trying to figure out how to save my home, care for my senior dog, and rebuild my life from scratch. Your Japan videos have become my safe place. I’ve had them playing on loop because, for an hour at a time, they quiet my brain enough that I can stop spiraling, regroup, and get back to applying for jobs and trying to rebuild. I don’t think creators always get to hear when something they’ve made genuinely helps someone, but your videos have done exactly that for me. I’m not looking for anything, I just wanted to say thank you for years of laughter, and especially for this series. It’s helping more than you probably realize. Wishing you both nothing but continued success.

heads up for when/if you go to australia, if you go in a rainy season, most of the rain will be about as heavy as it was in that bit at 3:10. It doesn’t rain anywhere near as often as uk but when it does it doesn’t half-ass it :))
