Phoenix - Mix 3 - Mock Master (Patreon)

Like a Phoenix, this song has risen from its ashes yet again :-B

The original mix had this huge hecking bass and realized that maybe I should approach the whole instrumental around that one element! After a ton of rearranging and simplification I finally managed to hyperpop-ify the whole track (which is kind of what I originally had in mind with this track~)

I'm really attached to some of the cut parts from the original Phoenix, I've decided to split them into two shorter versions that flow better! I feel like it brings some lyrical continuity to the album without making the tracks too crazy.

This version will appear closer to the top of the album track list; while an edited, shorter version of Happy Hardcore Phoenix will help close the album!

In terms of completion, the only thing that's left on this version is the mastering process! I'm going to export the Bass + kicks separately from the entire instrumental and try to see if that 2020 "blown out bass" sound works on this track.
