Heyo, my mood is a bit sunk right now. Went to the doctors for the usual check up stuff and they did bloodwork this year. Seems I have high cholesterol and I might have fatty liver. Which, fair enough. I don't exactly eat the most healthy of diets because I can't really afford much. I'm going to have to change a lot of things with my life. Thankfully beans are cheap. The doctor is going to also put me on some meds for the cholesterol. It really does suck because I love leafy greens. They just cost a lot more than a box of pasta. I should be fine. I know about it now and can begin working on things. Thankfully the changes needed for both line up, which seeing as they're likely from the same source makes some amount of sense.

Besides that, I also got confirmed that I have ADHD. Which is something I've suspected for a long time. This video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0hL4mJInm0 by JaidenAnimation convinced me to mention it to my doctor this year. Really good video, by the by. Anyway, this is certainly a lot less impactful of a news item. My doctor has referred me to a place that should help some and of course there is always medication. Which was really the thing that held me back a lot, because I really do try to get through life taking as little medicine as possible. I even avoid advil if I can help it. Though that is more the fact that if I'm hurting, I prefer to know it.

None of this should interfere with chapters going out. I'm actually hoping to get two or more chapters a month of Banished talent going out and finish that story by the end of the year. Hoping to put that up for sale as an actual book on Amazon once it is complete and I get some editing done on it. Then I can start another story that I've had percolating in the back of my mind for a while. Not that I ever won't have some story or another ready to go. I've got a note on my phone full of ideas.

The moment I saw that video myself I wonder how many people would take a look at themself, and wel here we are with an author a I support. But yeah if you do go the medicine route do know that many of them are you get the side effects at the start and the more positife effects take longer to come sadly. Or at least that is the experience from most that I know that have used them or do still use them.
