So glad I was able to rewatch my favorite anime with one of my favorite reaction creators! It's been a great journey. Literally the reason why I got the Pateron so I could watch this sooner lol.

Laxzone

Appreciate that! I’m glad you were able to enjoy this fire series again as I went through it.

Another reaction series I’ve enjoyed from start to finish. Flew by so fast it doesn’t even feel like 2 years… crazy aint it? Thank you once again for all the time spent recording and editing! A few fun bits to leave here; the Kamogawa flashback canonically happened right after the Takamura vs Hawks fight in S2. The anime staff just moved it to end S3 off with a bang. Which has, and still is one of the best adaptation decisions they’ve ever made imo. To add to that bang; if you’ve ever felt like things were hitting harder and gave you S1 vibes, it’s because the director for Ippo’s first season (Satoshi Nishimura) returned to direct #22-25, the entire flashback arc. I could not believe my eyes with how amazing the “rough” art looked, brought back the dynamic boxing action, and felt that they couldn’t have done a better job at finishing the anime series as they did. Looking forward to whatever you do next in due time. Tuning in to Slam Dunk alongside ofc!

It never feels that long lol but I simply just enjoy the journey. Thank you for enjoying it as well. The decisions made for this season were great because those batch of episodes to end out the season were amazing and left me wanting more of that!

I found you in 2024 when you started watching Hajime No Ippo, and I have enjoyed every single reaction that you have done. In summer of this year, I tried to become a content creator like you in the area of reacting, and I did tried with a few episodes.. And man, I discovered how HARD this area of YT is. I deeply respect you, and want to say thanks for reacting to my favorite anime of all time. God bless you bro!!!

Laxzone

Yeah there’s a lot that goes into it lol but keep with it and just enjoy it. I also appreciate you sticking around for this series!

Bloodhounds is a Kdrama with a similar vibe to Hajime no Ippo. Season 2 is expected to come out 2026 but season 1 is definitely great to check out. 8 episodes.
