Azoku

Man the "Train, Train, Mochi get on base!" almost took me out. That was so funny lol

Laxzone

I needed it to happen lol

Kelsey

From memory, the thing under Sawamuras hat says "Seidou Soul" 🥹

Laxzone

Definitely not something I remember but I can appreciate the focus it got.

Kelsey

This is the first time they show it. They translated it in the manga version of that shot but not the animated version so I figured id share what it says lol

sandri

One of the dirtiest cliffhangers of the whole series bruh wtf was that

Laxzone

Right! Seido finally got some momentum.

Not going to lie this was the number 1 most diabolical disrespectful cliff hanger ever so far in this series! Knowing we already on the edge of our seat waiting to score a point finally!!! 😭 And I just knew the Kawakami moment would get you yoo 😭 I love Eijun so much and how much he’s grown and the responsibilities he is taking on and fully understands now but not letting it tunnel vision him like the first game with the ace number because he is in the zone right now! Dare I say Mei is going to sweat if we see them again with our Ace!!! 😤

Joseph

Even though Eijun struck out, he had a really good at bat. Working Amahisa to throw 8 pitches this late in the game is nothing to scoff at and helps tire him out. If Seidou actually does break through this inning, Eijun can say he played a big part offensively here.

Kawakami said himself that he cant do anyhthing for the team or anyone. The issue wasnt that he didnt do anything for 8 innings or that he wanted to pitch, not even close, he geniunely didnt believe he was worth anything to the team because he couldnt pitch. Someone who is so deep in their own head and putting down their own worth isnt going to be able to support anyone. That was a whole mental battle he had to have with himself, the fact it ONLY took 8 innings is amazing, and through his own efforts. Eijun took 3 weeks (yips) lol and this is an ACTUAL injury, not just a mental one.
