dexota

can somebody explain the significance of the song change, didn't understand that scene

Kelsey

Yes Lupin the third was Yukis walk up song when he was on the team. It was actually Sekis idea, the guy holding up the Lupin sign to the band lol. Yuki had no idea they were going to do that.

Kelsey

Every batter has a specific walk up song. Mochi's is called "Train, Train", Miyukis is called "Neraiuchi" and Tetsus was "Lupin the Third". They're all real songs you can hear if you watch real Koshin every year but them playing Tetsus song, which hasnt been used on Seidou since Tetsu left the team, is basically them calling Miyuki to show why he took over captaincy and calling him to be as ontop of it as Tetsu always was. And its also show of support of them backing Miyuki up as the captain. Miyuki always respected Tetsu so much as captain and clean up so its supposed to help show Miyuki that hes their leader now with Tetsu backing him up.

Thank you. I really love how this show makes you feel like they’re still on the team even after they graduated.

Her we go, I broke down this whole episode on the plane looking crazy with grown man tears so I already know Lax about to be in his feels this episode! I love Ace so much 😭😭😭

Laxzone

7 innings of frustration and my boys finally found that breakthrough! This episode deserved all the tears!

THE episode of the season I'm a major wreck all episode.

when reading the manga the Haruichi at-bat and out made the game even more tense; usually when hits get past the infield they're already 100% guaranteed a hit - but with Ichidai's extreme outfield shift the right fielder Sasaki was able to throw Haruichi out at first base. I don't even think I've ever seen a play like that in the MLB. Because of the slower pacing between chapter, I think for the reader it made it feel more frustrating and worried that Seidou wouldn't score, but thankfully our boy Mr.Consistent pulled through~

I'm back. Got my food again to watch this masterpiece with you. Last episode's cliffhanger was insane but I'm happy I waited for this episode to come out first lol. Much love Lax! Keep at it!

Sleepyheartss

They really keep traumatizing us with that yakushi game lmao
