I forgot how this ended.... wow this was amazing to watch again with you. I had to laugh when the commercial break happened and you got mad at the chibi cast aahahha. also I just noticed this for the first time... not only is Hanamichi growing personally, but it's visually shown in his design at the end too. his pompadour haircut at the end is totally unrecognizable. that hit me so hard in the feels, it's like he's visually transformed into an athlete with no regard anymore for how "cool" he looks to others. the fact that he felt no shame to do an underhanded free throw was also amazing. he's always looking to better himself and I'm so proud of him. I almost yelled with you when Rukawa and Hanamichi both threw aside their pride and shouted for each other's succes. we really can't blame Haruko for crying a waterfall during the match... she's witnessing Hanamichi's entire transformation from start to finish! such a great reaction as always man, can't stress how much I appreciate the fact that you're so into the storytelling despite it being an older sports series. it's hard to recommend the anime nowadays. I love it man, keep it up!
