There's time skips ranging in length in every arc, a lot of the time they use the intros to show some of what happened during the time skip and move the story forward. The story will really elevate itself soon, wish I could watch 2 episodes at a time because 1 goes by so fast after work, but i'm looking forward to the next upload.

But again, what makes you invested in the show is indeed watching him overcome all the trials and tribulations he goes through and also watching him want to be a whole lot better than he was in his last life. So knowing the fact that he truly intentionally wants to be better makes Rudy a great character and his development gangsta!

I get what you're saying if he was trying to be better this life lol, but he's just the same when it comes to the BAD stuff. Yeah he's trying to be better when it comes to his traumas and stuff but I know what comes up very soon which was unforgivable for me the first time around and made me drop the show. Don't think he'll ever be a character I'll mess with but that's okay

You're not supposed to like him in fact you can see in the show that he doesn't even like himself, a lot of characters Rudy included have A LOT of flaws and some are really bad, said flaws are what give a lot more depth to the story, the world and the characters, the fact that he is the protagonist doesn't mean he is perfect and we have to like him, we're just used to protaginists as a whole being that archetype. Rudy will never be perfect but he does improve in a lot of major ways, there's things you will like or respect about him and things you will not forgive him for but that shouldn't stop you from seeing the rest of the story, the world also doesn't work like ours which is why it can be so offputting at times but the creepy stuff will go down A LOT and Rudy will become a lot more mature as a whole, he might have been old in his past life but you can clearly see that mentally he was behind in a lot of ways Hope you'll enjoy the show and are able to take it for what it is, it will only get better and better in every way and it legit has some of the best writing in the latest season

Im late, but from the way Lillia denied it and Paul actually didnt know what Rudy was saying, its easy to comprehend that Rudy was making it up as a way to shift blame to Paul instead of Lillia, however there is a power dynamic at play.
