Ipad thumbnails! (Patreon)

First off,  "Value, light and color" won the poll by a single vote! I will start working on that once I get back from my trip in early November so it can be ready for next year. 

So I have been messing around in procreate every day, but it has mostly been me adjusting the settings and finding the brushes I like to use. Right now the HB pencil and reed brush are my favorites (I used the reed brush for the thumbnails above, along with the light brush for the candle glow) 

I had no idea the apple pencil was tilt sensitive either, and I got embarrassingly excited when I found out by accident the other day. That is going to make shading figure drawings WAY EASIER, instead of me having to mimic that traditionally shaded look in PS.  I am still getting used to the awkwardness of drawing onto a screen though, and how strange it feels to be tapping on smooth glass instead of something more textured.  

Not sure what I want to use to paint with yet, because none of the brushes are like my main brush in photoshop, but I will keep experimenting and figure something out. At least I found some sketch brushes that really fit my style!
