For the past two years, I have started so many projects only to lose all motivation to finish them. I always feel a little embarrassed to share when that happens, but I'm trying not to look at it as a failure. This is just what I have to do to work through it.

I was going to do a whole series of Bloodborne characters because it's my favorite video game and has been a huge inspiration to me when creating my own characters. I chose designs that I loved the most, and I thought I still would share the sketches with you.

I learned a lot from this, even if I never come back to it!

I think everyone has this issue even if it's for different things. But sharing and essentially telling others "hey, it's okay to fail, or not finish a project that doesn't call to you anymore" is incredibly valuable. So even if you don't feel that's the case, or feel embarrassed to share - I'm really happy you did!

I always love seeing artist noodles! I've learned to start accepting these things as explorations xD thank you for sharing these

Thank you!! I haven't been this excited for a game in a long time, so I'm right there with you. Good luck with your first playthrough!

This post really motivates me and makes me feel less alone in my endeavors. I enjoy seeing sketches and raw ideas from you and have been trying to treat my own unfinished or abandoned works as learning experiences instead of failure. Certain games have been such an inspo to me as well and I enjoyed reading about your influences! Thank you again for posting a little bit of yourself :)

I'm so glad it has helped you. 😊 It is always comforting to know that you aren't alone in your feelings, especially since being an artist can be such a lonely thing sometimes!
