Cory's dad was always a bit of a cheat; since Cory was just a nerdy, studious little girl, he never imagined she would grow up to be stronger than him. When Cory saw her parents again after some time, they noticed just how incredibly strong she had become. She challenged her father again and won, but when he tried for a rematch, he couldn't even budge his little girl's arm—not even with both of his own arms. He learned his lesson after that day. Perhaps that is why Cory is so full of herself—just like his father.
