We're revealing a new roadmap for 100% Orange Juice - and with it, some strategic changes to how we handle them! You may notice that the headers of the 3 categories have been updated. "Coming Soon" has been replaced with "In the Works" and "Coming Later in 2026" has been replaced with "Coming Later". What does this mean in practice?TL;DR this is purely an organizational change, and the expected result is spreading our features across a larger number of more regular content updates.Basically, we've been working to improve our scheduling and advance planning, and that is going to have some effect on the way new content updates get released - hopefully for the better! We've been very happy to see that people liked our roadmaps and it's a great encouragement when players look forward to the upcoming features, but at the same time having to put so many things on the roadmap in a concrete timeline - "this will be in the next update --- this will be in the update after that" - has put a lot of pressure on the dev team and caused repeated delays as one of the several "promised" features ended up taking longer than expected. That's totally normal, we have a small group of developers and you can't always know how long something will take when it's still in the planning stages, but when it's been set on the roadmap as "this will be in the next update", players would be disappointed to see it "delayed." Meanwhile if it hadn't already been announced, the problematic feature would've just been put off until a future update, and the release made without it.We're now aiming for a best of both worlds situation by having "core updates" planned and scheduled longer in advance, and aiming to finish those entirely well before scheduled release time - while all other features are made modular, and will be attached to the next "core update" when finished. The new columns in the roadmap reflect this better:- First we have the things that are expected to be in the next "core update", which in this case will be centered around the Treasure Tails event rerun.- Next we have things that are currently in the works but not expected to be included in the next content update, including future core updates, and other features being prepared modularly. They may end up being in the next content update, or the one after that, or the one after that - whenever they are ready!- Finally we have things that we currently have planned for the near future, but aren't yet in active development. We'll likely change the visual roadmap format further to reflect this better in the next edition.Let us know what you think!

Sounds good! 🫡 Thank you for breaking down each column! Anything to take excess pressure off the dev team, popo~
