So if a character was asking your Crowny what they like, what would you answer? It can be anything from hobbies to just things they think are pretty, etc.,

Like a getting to know you question.

Listening to music, candy, I've cream sundaes, soft beds, snow. More simple things like sensations and tastes since they've been out of touch with their body for so long that they're just now getting to know these sensations.

Listening to music, collecting rocks, flower pressing, dancing, though it's more lyrical/contemporary. Things that are pretty: Sunsets, piercings, water. I have another Crowny who likes decent cigarettes, rock/grunge/alt music, dark colors, the smell of the rain, and is into free verse poetry.

I feel like at this stage in the story my crowny hasn't really gotten the chance to find a lot of things that he would do for fun so its mostly basic things like music, making paper flowers plus flowers in general and reading. And for my more abstract concepts windy or pleasantly cool days, comfortable silences, the sound of people's genuine laughter, the view from his rooms window, trees, the color blue and comfortable clothes.

Yeah I think currently my Crowny would just blank stare at the person asking the question. Maybe answer something vapid and expected to not seem crazy. Would probably spend days thinking about it. Eventually deciding she likes it when it’s quiet. Maybe reading when the only thing she can hear is the sound of rain on the window/pavement. Warm cups, because I feel like her hands are always cold and something warm to drink because it warms up places she didn’t realize were also cold. Later down the road, I can see her liking to buy those old disposable cameras to take pictures of things that fascinate her, but never developing them so she just ends up with a drawer of used cameras.

For my Crowny hmm...Living up that escapism by falling into music (it already came to mind with the phase out vice and the music from percy's gift), reading everything (probably heavily related to case research or learning a new thing), trying to nail down that work out routine (hospital hobby that seems to have become a necessity when fighting for your life constantly) things that can be enjoyed quietly or things that can be put to practical use. I'd like to think he likes the rain or a good storm too would go good with all of the above and helps you tune out other noise (and after certain events good for washing away evidence too)

Collecting random things that are colorful or seem interesting, like bird feathers or river rocks. I also think my Crowny would love people-watching! They’d find it super fascinating, even though everyone else would feel super creeped out

The previously chosen hobby: exercising. That burn after a run and getting to feel the breeze against your skin, kinda thing Puzzles, mathematics, space: mysteries that can be solved or studied (and don't include lapses in memory and twisted memories). Space in particular (just had to pick the moon and stars option on the box decoration), for the mystery and beauty of the astral bodies and the forces that move them. Kind of a "wonder of the known" thing, and studying that unknown. (An unknown unrelated to the town, even)

Would either say infuriating Lorcan or reading and writing stuff similar to works of Kafka to put into words how they are feeling. Alternatively starring blankly uncertain of the answer would work too.

-i think my Crowny is very proud of their collected knick knacks they have gotten in return for their help in the sidequest (they are the proof that they can do good/ be good to people 🥲) other ideas are: -swinging on swings as they like how they feel like they can fly -back in the day floating on the lake (or floating in water in general, maybe even fill the bathtub and chill) -dancing without rythm or sense -play acting as book/movie characters to emote in a non stressfull way on their room -singing

I tend to play introverts, so hobbies and things that Crowny could do on their own. Reading novels like those old pulpy scifis and sword-n-sorcery fantasy books from the 60s and 70s.
