I think Jonathan was justified, like Steve was moving mad weird. You’d think as her FRIEND, that he would know her well enough to not pop by with flowers, when what she would most likely want, is for them to focus on finding Holly. Like yeah, the outburst was a bit too much, but honestly I would be side-eyeing Steve too. Like why are you trying to push for to visit my girlfriend, when I already told you what I know she would want? Even if Steve’s intention wasn’t to show Jonathan up, by giving Nance flowers. Like it’s still weird giving the events leading up to now. Steve doesn’t even try to hide that he intentionally moves weirdly with Nance infront of Jonathan, her man….

I think you all are looking at the Jonathan/Steve situation far more logically than it really is. This is a show, clearly they are emphasizing Steve and Nance from episode 1 to show that there is obvious tension between the two (Steve’s hand brushing Nance, a breach of space, awkward looks at each other). A show such as this isn’t going to hint at some love triangle for it to only be in someone’s head because there insecure, that’s what a real life situation would sound like, that’s not what a TV show would sound like that’s obviously trying to build some sort of narrative surrounding this plot point.

Steve literally told Nancy in the final episode of last season that he dreams of having 6 kids with her. So no Steve is not just being a friend he is trying to work this situation to his advantage and gaslighting Jonathan into thinking nothing is going on. Jonathan was 100% right to call Steve out on his bullshit and also Jonathan did what Nancy would want them to do, STAY ON MISSION!!!

I don’t think Steve has been competing or trying to make himself seem better than Jonathan but Steve definitely has some feelings for Nancy I think he can sense. But also Jonathan was making it a competition during that race up that tower & maybe looking too deep into it. So they both made points imo

I also don’t think it’s this evil thing that Steve offered for both of them to give Nancy flowers & check on her yes she’s a girl all about sticking to a plan but I don’t think he had bad intentions other than just wanting to comfort her & even including Jonathan so I don’t think it was this selfish thing trying to win points some people make it out to be.

Nah Johnathan rightfully called out Steve, Nancy's been feeling something for him since they were paired together last season while Johnathan away was with his family. If i remember correctly I think they almost kissed before Johnathan came back.
