I think Will getting powers is apart of Vecna's plan, cause it's crazy his eyes actually go completely white unlike El and her sister. So him having powers is gonna play right into Vecnas final piece. Calling it lol.

Max is not going to have powers imo, will and henry were paralleled heavy with being sensitive kids and the mind flayer. They were the only two to be infected by it as well in comparison.

she's not, they're not just going to hand out powers every time a kid is in the upside down or captured by vecna, Will had a special connection with the upside down for seasons so his reveal feels more deserved

Will definetly has limiations with his powers. He channels his powers via the Hive Mind so he does have ALL of Vecnas powers: so right Will has Vecna level powers which is a great help but once he gets rid of Vecna, he most likely wont have them anymore. So the only main issue is, seeing if they can find a way to sever his connection fromHenry. Max having powers is unlikely but I do think Max and Holly will do something with the mind world that can definetly be useful in the battle.

I also don't know about Mike not reciprocating Will feelings, the Duffer Brother did say that his character is very oblivious. Plus we never got confirmation that El and Mike got back together after their break up in season 4. We can see they worked out their difference from their big fight last seasoon, plus I highly doubt after all that time Will spent in season 4 trying to get them back together, he would go and ask Roboin for signs to see if someone likes you and then go and try to use them on Mike right after. So something happened in those 18 months between Season 4 and 5. It doesnt make sense how Will was restraining his feelings for Mike all of Season 4 out of resepct for his sister(Eleven) just to now in Season 5 be trying his hardest to make moves on Mike and fliritng with him in that one scene. Something aint adding up, plus Mike and El barley had any interaction besdies their convo.

They did not break up. They had a romantic embrace in the field then a conversation planning their future after they defeat Vecna on the rooftop. She is caressing his face, as he’s holding her hand and resting his hands on her thigh with their legs connected in V2, ep 6. She is also continuing to wear the ring he gave her. Lucas referred to them as lovebirds. They are not broken up.

They did, there was never a scene where they said “will you get back with me?” There is no scene or dialogue where it is confirmed that they got back together. Unless you can provide me with proof of a scene where they established that. They just hugged but didn’t kiss which they usually do. It’s not confirmed if they’re back together. Don’t you think it would be weird for Will to be hitting on Mike so hard this season KNOWING he’s dating El still??

Not true, Holly has been talking to Mr. Whatsit since season 1. We see many scenes of her staring off or nodding to something invisible in front of her. Duffer brothers also said that she will be the center point of Season 5. They gave Will the wizard pieces from DnD and look at him now, they gave the monster the Demogorgon and well... It's basically the same thing, and Mike told her that the cleric piece he gave her can open Portals, which.. let's face it... That's a pretty useful ability to have.

While I’m not downplaying your Vecna masterplan theory, I believe the only reason his eyes go white is mainly because he’s channeling his powers DIRECTLY FROM vecna unlike Eleven and Kali whose powers come from themselves.

That make sense, but just cause it's Vecna, I know he didn't give Will powers through those tentacles thing outta the goodness of his heart. There's obviously a bigger reason why, but could be a thousand things. So hopefully volume 2 cooks like this one 🍳🔥

“He’s looking for sparks that ain’t there with Mike” I love you guys, but ya’ll out of your depth with this take lol and so is everyone who is claiming that there’s nooooo wayyyy that Mike might like Will back. It’s not your faults though. I’m certified (gay af lol) and I’ve been EXACTLY where both Will and Mike are, so it’s not hard for me to clock the nuances that fly over the heads of the majority. Also, many people don’t actually understand what Robin is telling Will and the true message behind her words. I think it just sorta requires you to have a certain lived experience to truly understand, iykyk. At this point everything is purely conjecture, and I’m eager to see how the story unfolds 🫶🏽

Omg thank you so many non queer people are missing what robin was actually saying to will and are using it to rub in our faces that byler isn’t happening or that it’s one sided. They completely missed the whole part where mike was in will’s whole tape whereas Tammy wasn’t in Robin’s. It’s completely different being inlove with a classmate vs being inlove with your bestfriend of over 10 years. Anyways I just wish people paid more attention to the subtle hints of them.
