I've seen a lot of movies in the theater this year (ALL the marvel movies, Superman, and DS:IC) and this one was by far my favorite experience of them all! Now I'm a smoker, so I tend to blaze before and sneak out for a smoke break during the halfway mark... THIS movie grabbed me by the balls and would NOT let me leave!! Lol 😆 I was legit tryna sneak out bad, but it kept ramping and ramping and I just said "Fuck it, We HERE"

Yo 2 Random things I picked up on at the end... Chick said she failed because she took so long, meaning she didn't kill him before she developed feelings for him. So she really did care and was actually happy to see him at the end. Denji was fully packed up to run away 😆 Also, just a guess, but based on what they said, Reze was a Black Widow of sorts lol. Also, that means the Gun Devil is Putin? I mean, Russian?

Ask Fujimoto the author. He was asked in an interview why denji didn't get with reze and he said he likes it when the protagonist and heroine don't get together to emphasize themes of loss and loneliness. He did not want reze to end up with denji or become an ally so he took her off from the story. If you continue to read the manga, you will see the pattern of him doing it. I have read the manga and trust me, it is quite clear how he feels about it.

Gonna add these hilariously fun facts I just looked up: 1. The author, Fujimoto, ACTUALLY based Power's personality and character on Eric Cartman 🤣 I'll leave it at that. 2. The rat scene when Makima pulled up at the end is actually a BERSERK reference. Homie saw the God Hand pull up like that and said "yep, that's the one!". Perfect fit for Makima. 3. For my FLCL heads (worth a reaction!) Denji's rip chord was supposed to be an homage to Naota's horn coming out of his head lol 4. This one's for Jerry.... Remember Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo??? Remember Torpedo girl??? 🤣 That's where the mangaka got the idea for Reze's Bomb Girl design 🤣 Truly, a man of culture 👏

Not really considering she didn't seem to have interaction with any other dude. She was a weapon trained by the Soviets, how could she have time to hoe around? She only did what she did with Denji because she ACTUALLY did like him. And now she's dead. She definitionally is NOT a hoe. 💁🏾‍♀️ Please use facts, not feelings. 🙂‍↔️

Yes, I know. Fujimoto called her heroine. She was the heroine of this arc. But bc he does not want denji to end up with her, he took her off the story. If u read chainsaw man, this is something he does a lot. Even the present arc has a new heroine.

One thing i have to say is usually it doesnt matter what a 16 year old thinks about the situation like if theres a child soldier in war at 16 and even if they like it, we as adults know its an inherently unfair situation due to the power dynamics, its usually adults abusing their authority and power to force them into these sorts of situations, like if you really look at it, denji is a child soldier whos forced to do this when all children should have the bare minimum, if makima and the agency were really actually looking out for the wellbeing of denji theyd be making him go to school and provide for him to empower him when he becomes an adult to make smart decisions that are in his best interest, like him liking makima is because hes groomed and manipulated to like her and him being with her is probably not in his best interest and whats actually good for him
