The ID she has is from before the Bombs fell, she’s not supposed to have that unless she’s from that time & that what Chet just realized. He thought she was born in the vault like he & Lucy were. Steph is from before the war just one of the buds buds or management. Also remember a Steph is from vault 31 she’s not a spy, she just happened to be Canadian but works for Vaul tec.

Lmao addiction is actually an effect from the game if u take too many u become an addict that constantly needs it but it also gives u a buff for staying on it and nerfs if u try to stay sober.

I love this show, but ngl, even in terms of fallout logic, i thought the Alaskan Front scene was a little dumb. Why send two power armor soldiers on a search and recover mission without any normal infantry, engineers, or what have you. The power armor is essentially like a tank, its just a support unit that has firepower and great ballistics armor to lead the front lines. You would think a stealthy non power armor unit would be there to recon and be more tactical in when shit goes down so situations like Chinese soldiers can’t just walk up on a down power armor soldier. But i guess they needed this scene to happen for a reason, and you could probably spin this some way to make sense anyways.

About Steph and her ID. In 2072 The USA used sabotage to annex/occupy Canada to use its resources for the war. I think she is out for revenge against USA and vault tec, just a guess. Its also maybe good to know that the entire great war is happening because of resource shortages like natural gas/oil which is why the world resorted to nuclear power and putting research attention more onto power rather computers like ‘our reality’ Btw the joke “womens mensroom” is because the layout is flipped/reversed. So to him it was the mensroom but it is now the womens in this vault, So he was basically saying “the mensroom that is now the womans”. It clunky/goofy/dry fallout humor lol

S1 lost me in the first half, but the 2nd half was a phenomenal binge when I watched it last month lol I expect the same for s2. The 2nd half gonna go crazy (this season had the stronger start, IMO)

Canada is a nation does not even exist at the time of this tv show and hasn't existed since before the Great War. Its clear proof to Chet that Steph was not born in a Vault, which is a secret that only a handful of characters are aware of. I am not sure though what the Canadian part will ultimately mean going forward.
