$6000 a month for rehab, only for you to turn around and get high when you get out? That's enough to make you turn against a family member. Then, in the present day, Luke kicks Steven's door in, steals some stuff—expensive stuff to get money for his fix—and Steven pays Luke to give it back?! Their family is wild.

When it's a close relative - like a child or a sibling - who's an addict, it's HARD y'all. You love them and don't want to see them out on the street strung out. But... you have to let them go until they want help. The letting go is TOUGH, though. So I understand Luke siblings and their reactins.

I imagine you can't help but worry and you're always keeping an ear out just to hear if anybody's dead on the street if it could be your sibling or relative.

tbh i feel like shirley keeping the kittens isn’t an obscure practice. given the context of where they live, i think had they been on normal property, this would have been any other ordinary instance of a child housing pets for a little while. i do agree, though. after the death of the first one i probably would’ve given the others away. but the show only goes up from here. excited for the next eps.
