Dorne is apart of the Seven Kingdoms Daeron 2 marriage Myriah Martell join dorne with the Seven Kingdoms their children are Baelor Targaryen Aerys I Targaryen Rhaegel Targaryen Maekar I Targaryen

Darrell Henry

There are 9 realms(think states) but the Kingdom is called the Seven Kingdoms because when Aegon Conquered them there were 7 independent Kingdoms. He created the Crownlands (that’s where King’s Landing is) and he split the Iron Islands and Riverlands into two. At this time Dorne is apart of the realm, Baelor’s mom is Dornish.

Josh Hargrave

They never showed Maester Aemon at all. He's already on his way to the citadel become a Maester. Baelor's son's name is Valaar.

Yeah, Baelor and Maekar's mother is a Martell from Dorne. So Egg is a quarter Martell. Baelor just took after his Martell mom and Maekar took after his Targaryen dad physically. Dorne very recently became part of Westeros because of marriages. The current old king of Westeros in this season is Daeron II(we have not seen him) and he is married to the Prince of Dorne's sister, Myriah Martell. Daeron II also married his own Targaryen sister, Daenerys Targaryen, to his wife's brother the Prince of Dorne , Maron Martell, which prompted them to join together.

Yeah the Iron islands were basically Vikings and took over the Riverland’s and was probably the strongest military force when Aegon came to conquer them

how is it possible that Jerry manages to say some dumb shit on every show no matter the type. yes it was about the armor First the armor the Targaryens wore were fitted to both look good and form good instead of pure practicality like the smith Dunk meets prefers. He literally says out loud in Ep 4 I think that he makes real armor not fancy suits. Second, Pat was right that the armors fit wasn't right. Cause he wasn't expecting to fight Baelor didn't bring his suit so he wore his sons tighter set. meaning when Maekar struck his head, instead of the helmet deflecting the blow cause it's 3 or so inches apart from the head, it instead reverberates and caves it in cause it's tight His death was purely down to armor, I'm very sure he's had dangerous bouts with his brother before. Otherwise Maekar wouldn't be shocked that it did him in

Raymun Fossoway is a real one. hopefully we see him again. The ending had me dying. Felt like Home Alone.

when Aegon conquered Westeros there were only 7 kingdoms. Kingdoms of : the North, the Westerlands, the Vale, the Reach, the Stormlands, the Isles and Rivers, and Dorne. Even though they hadn't conquered it the Targaryen Kings still claimed it until Daeron actually added it The Riverlands hadn't been independent for a while before then and were controlled by the Iron born. While the Crownlands isn't a kingdom but the personal realm Aegon created in between the Stormlands and Vale So there were 7 kingdoms, 8 Lordships (+Riverlands), and 9 Realms (+Crownlands)
