Nah I get what Jerry and Evan are saying. It’s clear that chuck and jimmy’s parents were too lenient on jimmy. But at the end of the day, Jimmy was still a child who was influenced on that behavior from a young age. Chuck is crazy for holding that grudge for so long and probably should have at least come to have a talk with jimmy about it. But it’s clear Chuck’s insecurities was a factor in what developed his sickness. A sickness caused by something used in everyday life. His whole episode of him being in a vegetable state just shows how he is. He needs to hide in a shell and his mental illness is his cover up.

My thing with chuck is you never had a sliver of hope that jimmy could be something different or change for the better, even with your past issues that you have with him, and Jimmy cleary sees that he didnt, and i feel like thats ONE of the reasons why jimmy kept doing what he does, ofc he could change for himself but knowing your brother looks at you that way will have some affect on you whether it turns out to be a good or bad effect. Thats what i feel like evans point is too. Jimmy clearly loves chuck, but chuck doesnt love him like he says he does, its clear based off his actions and words. Im not dismissing the accountability that jimmy needs to have for his actions, but when it comes to their relationship, its clear Jimmy cares for chuck a lot, but chuck doesnt care for jimmy fr, but acts like he does , and thats the wack shit i cant respect

Jimmy and Chuck’s relationship is their parent’s fault. Chuck prifefully wanted to be like his father, while Jimmy feared becoming anything like his father. That fear of being a sheep makes him feel safe being a wolf. If you really look at it, Jimmy’s questionable behavior and decision-making throughout the show comes from a fear and disdain of being a “good person”. Jimmy could never let go of the beef with Howard and Chuck because he felt played. When Chuck pulled on his heart strings and played him the same way the customer did his pops, that ANGERED him more than getting rejected by HHM. IMO It’s bad parenting that lead to their broken relationship.

id disagree on two things, i dont think jimmy fears and is disdained by being a good person, but he fears and distain's being a "sheep" in the world, and money is what drives this world so its obvious thatd be one of his drives too. And the other is, he did let go of his beef with howard after realizing he was under the guise chuck made and placed on howard for himself, and that was really one of the first moments hes seen that chuck doesn't really believe in me and then later on seeing chuck actually hates him, but after that he didnt really beef with howard fr

I think you’re nitpicking a little at my comment, but I also didn’t clarify properly. The reason I put “good person” in quotation marks is because I was implying “sheep”. Chuck and Jimmy ideally are at opposite when it comes to being a “good person”. Chuck believed his father was the pinnacle of “goodness”, while Jimmy despised it’s weaknesses. In Jimmy’s mind, he associates “good person” with “sheep”. I said “Jimmy held on to the beef with Howard and Chuck” but didn’t clarify. In SEASON 1, Jimmy was in fact BEEFING with Howard believing he was responsible for rejecting him. In SEASON 2, after finding out Chuck was behind it all, he in fact BEEFED with Chuck the entire season and this season. You disagreed that Jimmy beefed with Howard, then just admitted that he beefed with him. Just because he “let it go”, that doesn’t erase his behavior and actions in Season 1 when he believed Howard was the enemy. I’m highlighting all of this to conclude that Jimmy refuses to be treated like a sheep, and being a wolf is how he copes.
