All the actors for that flashback incredible. They posted a little 5 min behind the scenes of how they filmed and film with chopper. Super interesting. They used the voice actors facial expressions as well for chopper. But while acting have a whole other actor that acts in it’s place so the other actors have something to bounce off on

And oh yes they definitely took Chopper seriously, and of course Oda would have made sure of it. They literally made a song and added it as the soundtrack to play in the episode🤣. In the back you hear the song “Tony Tony Tony chopper..” and the great thing about the live action is that OG manga fans are part of this project, they don’t have to be for it to be good but it does add to it that they as well are major major fans and feel the importance. I’m happy they took their time for season to come out cause it made sure things were done right

Yeah, this is well done but its not the same. I wish they showed him going to fight through the other reindeer instead of a vague "valley of death" but they removed all the other animals from this arc (the hippo Wapol rides, the lapahn rabbits, the hiking bear, caroo). Surprised they actually had the unluckies show up earlier haha. There's also just weird inconsistencies like Kureha showing up and instead of Chopper freaking out because he doesn't know her they just kind of start talking.
